    • A little hard to assemble, but once complete it is a great machine
The instructions show all the pieces with numbers 1-22, then in the written instructions refer to them as A, B, C, etc. It is a little to figure out the assembly instructions because of this, and took me longer than expected to put it together. Once it was assembled, it was a solid machine and easy to use. Connected the water hose and plugged it in, and immediately used it for a couple of hours to wash my deck. There were no water leaks or issues at all, and a simple on switch. When purchased, I thought the handle lock would lock in the ON position so that I could wash a deck or large concrete pad for hours without my hand cramping from pulling the lever. This was not the case. The wand handle only locks closed. I gave 4 stars overall due to the confusing assembly instructions and mis-understanding about the wand handle locking in ON position.     • Powerful , light , low sounds
The pressure washer seems to be powerful and clean the dirt of my patio pretty well so far ; I used only the 45 degree nozzle (lower power stream) and it took care of my front porch and pool deck . The amount of water used is a small fraction of what would be used with just the hose. Have not used the detergent bottle yet, but it could make washing cars easier. The only thing I don’t like much are the multiple hoses connected to the power washer: power cable connected to the wall, yard water hose, and high power hose to the spray gun. But overall it’s good pressure washer for moderate cleaning service .The customer service also was good .the machine bad some issues and they were able to help . ... show more

    • Better than expected experience coming from a gas pressure washer
I have had a couple of gas pressure washers over the years and they ended up being given away because honestly, I just don't have the patience for the maintenance with gas washers. something goes wrong and i put off fixing it and then it rusts... I hated starting the things. Anyway, I have been needing a replacement for about a year and I tried my brothers battery powered pressure washer and loved the light weight aspect for small jobs that didn't need a lot of pressure. I figured that there had to be a middle ground between the gas washers and the lightweight battery powered ones and after some research and price hunting settled on the SWIPESMITH electric pressure washer. It arrived quickly and came in a fairly compact box for what I was expecting. The assembly wasn't to bad, about 20-25 minutes opening to complete. the instructions were fairly concise. We first tested it on my back walkway which over the past year had turned brown from its original brick red. First I have to say, this is not a gas pressure washer. those things will strip the paint off the house if you are not careful. this is not nearly as powerful, but it really is reasonably powerful. It took longer that a gas washer would have, but it did a reasonable job in a easy to use, compact form factor. We brought back the color of the walkway and moved on to reveal the original base of the garage that had moss and dirt. I love that its lightweight and that I just have to flip a switch to get started. I love that it is strong enough to get the regular to lighter jobs done AND its safe enough for my 12 year old to use without me worrying that she will dig holes in the wall (been there with the other kid). I just wish that I had purchase one a year ago! All in all, I am happy with this purchase, the SWIPESMITH feels well made and would recommend it. ... show more

I was happily surprised on: 1. Ease of use 2. Set up 3. Pressure delivery When I received the pressure washer, it came in a smaller box than I expected, but I learned that it just needed to be assembled, and was happy to see there really was not much to do. Once I read the instructions, assembly was easy. It took me about 15-20min to assemble the pressure washer. I set up and screwed in the hose, and turned on the water. I saw zero leakage, which was a good sign. I attached the hose, turned on the machine, and began using the gun, which had great pressure! The washer came with several attachments for different angles of water delivery. I then used the foam cannon, and while yes it did work as promised, I think I may be using incorrect soap/ratio for full foam, but the cannon still had a good soap distribution on my car. Once I finished my work, it was easy to clean up and roll in the hose and organize the wiring. In conclusion, I like the electric pressure washer and am going to continue using it! ... show more

The power washer is good. The hose reel is almost worthless and the attachment between hose and soap washer is impossible to disconnect.

I was curious if I would enjoy the pressure washer or not. It's one of those things you know you need, but you're still determining how much you'll use it. After assembling, I took it for a test run. I was only going to clean the front of the car, but it was so easy that I just cleaned the whole thing. Pros: - It's not going to rip the paint off your car. While it has plenty of pressure, you can still put your hand a few inches before it. - The soap dispenser works well. - It's light enough to pick up and carry as needed. - Since it's relatively small, it stores easily anywhere. - Attaching the nozzle types and changing the sprayer - Assembly is pretty straightforward. - You don't have to worry about the electrical; the cord has a heavy shield and is very, very, very long. - It cleans as expected. <-- most important. Cons: - I would like to adjust my soap concentration to water ratio. - While it has wheels, rolling around with the cable so close to the ground could be better. - Directions on wrapping the cord and hose (I figured out an excellent way to do it; photos included). Overall, I'm glad I purchased the product. I look forward to cleaning the windows, concrete, and cars, getting the grime off the siding, and possibly finishing the garage floor. The power washer will undoubtedly get some use. * Note on the front car bumper picture. I combined the power washer, a firm sponge, and a little elbow grease. The power washer made it waaaaaaaay easier and drastically reduced the effort. ... show more
