Having previously owned both an electric and gas pressure washer, my initial impression is that this machine is tiny and compact. Out of the box, you just need to slide in two handles for the sides and screw in two screws for the handle on the back. The top screw is more recessed than the bottom screw so don't go crazy on the bottom screw and strip it. It comes with spare o-rings for the quick connect fittings. A quick tip for those who keep destroying the o-rings, use waterproof grease to prevent damage with snapping in dry quick connect fittings. You can find it at your local home improvement store in the section where they sell faucet repair parts. The gun is made of plastic. The high pressure hose has a universal fitting on one end and a male quick disconnect on the other end. Both the hose and gun are extremely lightweight and easy to handle. Unfortunately, over time the hose will kink and the plastic threads on the gun will strip. It happens to all electric pressure washers with lightweight hoses and plastic guns. The high pressure output on the washer is a standard universal fitting so I was able to attach a kink free heavy duty high pressure hose and metal gun from my gas pressure washer to it. The reservoir for the foam cannon holds about two cups which is just enough to degrease my car engine. Fill the container with purple power degreaser, foam the engine bay and then blast it away after two minutes with clean water. Watch some Youtube videos on how to do it first, you can damage your car if you do it wrong. As for washing the car itself, I filled the foam cannon tank with distilled water and the Meguiers soap that is sold at Costco. It worked fine. I was unable to get it to suck water from a bucket so that feature did not work for me but I did not try hard to get it to work. If you need that feature, you are better off with a battery powered pressure washer. The noise level is way lower than my older electric pressure washer. No roaring engine like my gas pressure washer. This pressure washer is good for a homeowner looking for a portable and lightweight unit to occasionally wash cars and clean things outside. If you are looking to clean a long driveway or blasting away clogs in sewer drainage pipes with a jetter hose, you are better off getting a gas pressure washer but that will cost you 4x as much. It will simply take too long to clean a driveway without a floor attachment. You could use it to spray pretreatment with sodium chloride (bleach) to clean a long driveway though. It should work with a short jetter hose to clear clogged pipes but don't expect it to work well with thick 100 ft jetter hoses. Use the right tool for the job. ... show more
