  • Pretty great for a small electric at this price point.
Starts and stops after turning on with a pull up a trigger. Can run on a house, water supply or a bucket. I actually sell commercial grade pressure washers for a living. In this case, I’m not generally favorable towards small electric machines, but for most homeowners, this will be great. There are some things to prevent you from tearing up your machine in ways that gas powered machines can quickly run into. For instance, most pressure washers, especially gas powered have to recirculate the water, and the motor keeps running when you let go of the trigger. This can lead to the friction, causing the water to get extremely hot. And heat is never good for a pressure washer pump. Even a hot water based machine runs the hot water in line after the pump after going to a burner. So words to the wise when it comes to never letting your machine run for more than about a minute before squeezing that trigger again. That is not going to be an issue on this electric machine. When you switch this machine on, it only runs the motor as it since his pressure being released by the pulling of the trigger. This keeps you from burning things up. Still, keep in mind never disconnect the trigger assembly from the hose while that machine is switched on. You’re going to be attempting to disconnect high-pressure and you can hurt yourself if that hose starts whipping around. So before finishing up or disconnecting anything from below the trigger to the pressure washer, make sure to power the machine down at it’s switch. Take your pressure tip out. And squeeze the trigger to help let off the pressure. For storage, you can clear water out of the line by disconnecting where the hose snaps into the front bottom of the washer then, if you’re leaving the trigger assembly attached pull that trigger while you reel in the hose and that can help to drain that line. Also, never ever ever store the machine someplace where it can freeze. Not unless you can 100% guarantee you’ve cleared all of the water out of the hose lines and the machines pump assembly inside the body. In general, keep it stored someplace that stays above freezing, and it will save you problems. The hose is kind of its own animal. I’m not sure where you could get a hose like this for replacement though hopefully somewhere here on Amazon. It is not one of those standard quick connect assemblies nor is it one of those M 22 European screw on screw off adapters. This would be ideal, especially if you have an extension cord and a long enough water supply hose for power washing your automobile outside your garage. It is not going to have not mostly or for washing most houses unless you have a single story, an extension cord and a water bucket or you have a long enough water hose you with you. But for most cases, you would want to use industrial grade bleach for house washing, several gallons worth. So since this is not built to take a soap injector, and your soap bottle should never have something that strong in it, this is not great for house washing, unless you are going to be manually cleaning a single story and spraying it with a pump up sprayer for the cleaning solution. Basically, this is great for what it’s great for. Some such situations it would be the ideal. But if you’re doing a large project, try to have at least a 4 gallon a minute commercial grade machine. Ski clothes in Home Depot and don’t buy anything even if it’s from Dewalt because those AAA pumps are terrible. Honda motor if possible for gas powered. Four down in a minute if you ever really want to hit a second or third story or want to run a surface cleaning machine. But guess what, something like that’s gonna set you back well between $1000-$2000. This electric machine, especially if you’re just wanting to do a little washing around the house for your cars, especially, at this just over $100 price point you can’t beat it. I also love the color scheme. I’m a fan of the fluorescent greens. ... show more

  • Easy transport and usage
We already have a gas-powered pressure washer, but I needed something lighter weight to tackle some outdoor projects that don't require as much pressure as house siding and concrete, etc. My husband usually takes care of all that, but I have multiple deck chairs and garden pots, bird bath, and shed that periodically need a good scrub. It's a pain needing to do these kinds of tasks by hand, so having a lighter weight electric model is a welcome addition to my summer related tasks. My husband tried it out for the first time today, cleaning off two chaise lounges that were covered in algae and grime by the end of last season. We live in the southeast which is prone to a lot of green mold on surfaces with less sun, which is wear the chairs are typically used during summer. It was really quick work to get off the grime with this pressure washer, and no worry about damage to the painted finish or woven plastic seats. You can see the difference between the two chaise lounge chairs, the one on the right having already been cleaned off (shadows are from a nearby tree), and the one on the left still waiting to be done. The contrast is amazing, and it only took a few minutes to clean the first one completely. It worked well to get in the crevices between seat and frame. There is an automatic shut off when you release the handle to pause (like a brake on the water pressure) which does squeak a bit. I love that this model is upright like a vacuum cleaner, which will make it much easier to store in my tool shed than a conventional model being pulled on wheels. Very delighted to have this, and my husband will also be able to use it for cleaning items when he doesn't need to pull out the heavier gas machine. The use of both will help us maintain proper cleaning every Spring and Fall! ... show more

  • Good quality pressure washer provides strong performance
Compact pressure washer that provides strong streams for typical household needs, such as car washing, sidewalk cleaning, or heavy duty window washing. (Note that this is not a commercial pressure washer, which would be used to remove moss from siding, or staining from flagstone.) It has four different nozzles that allow you to tailor the stream, from a narrow, strong column (0 degree width) up through a wider spray appropriate for car washing (40 degree width). I have used all four nozzles, and they function as intended. It also includes a separate attachment (which I have not used yet) that allows you to mix in detergent, such as foaming car wash, but that attachment does not work with the nozzles - it is a separate piece that is attached to the handheld trigger assembly. When you activate the washer through the trigger, there is a fair amount of recoil due to the force of the stream, so be ready for it. Problems that I've had with the unit are fairly minor in nature, but are worth describing. Assembly is minimal, but I did manage to cut my hand on some of the sharp plastic edges when pushing on the handle. Attaching the garden hose to the input side was challenging, in that it took a fair amount of torque to get it tight enough so that there were minimal leaks. (I was never able to get it to a completely no leak state, but it was low enough that it was not a problem.) One improvement that has been made since the instructions were printed is the addition of a wire mesh filter at the water input, since it appears that clogging of the spray nozzles with debris from the water supply has been problem. They include a fine pin which is intended to be used to clean out the nozzles if they get plugged; presumably the new mesh filter reduces the need for that to be done. Overall I would recommend this pressure washer as a good household addition. ... show more
