I installed this water heater myself. So far just 2 days in it's great. Now the only problem is the valves that amazon recommended were CMI and they are not good quality. I can't get the cold side to stop leaking from their valve. I will be replacing them after the holidays. This brand was recommended by AMZN and that is why I purchased them. I don't like it when I wind up with a problem, they should give options for quality when I am placing the order. the unit is in my garage so not too much damage. Upgraded because my tank water heater started leaking. Thing to keep in mind about tankless water heaters is that they're not instant heaters. When you decide to use hot water, it has to take a little to heat up, so it's an extra 5s or so before it starts to deliver hot water (unless you do the pump/loop). My wife was frustrated by it until I explained it to her and informed her about how much we're saving by having this instead of a tank water heater. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Problems from day 1. Clean installation, but unit continually fails, always trouble code 11 or 12. Fixed the pressure tube that was pinched at the factory, worked for a while, then same problems. The Takagi unit beside it, 0 problems. Do yourself a favor and get a Takagi instead. If I had to it over, I would have bought 2 Takagis instead of this piece of junk. ... show more
