    • Assembles easily and is very portable
So far the pecticho power washer has worked very nicely. It cycles on and off during washing when you don't have the spray trigger engaged. This is a nice feature because it gives the machine a chance to rest as well as yourself. In reviewing something such as a power washer, I mostly look for ease of use, if it leaks, how portable it is, and overall function to how well it cleans. Assembling the pecticho was very easy and using the well defined, easy to read instructions, it did not take very long to have the unit up and running. The accommodations for securing the spray gun, hose and soap bottle are a nice touch. I didn't see a place to keep the four spray nozzles, but we attached a small bag to the pecticho so they will always be with the machine. Right from the start I noticed that the power washer showed no signs of leaking or loose fittings. I ran it about 20 minutes washing some dog kennel trays and a scaly fish aquarium plus a few obligatory passes along the siding of the house just to see what my wife thought of its performance. She was impressed, and I then let her operate it for a few minutes to get the idea of how easy it would be for her to use. We have a couple of other commercial power washer units that take a bit to set up, and are quite a bit more than my wife wants to handle for small cleaning jobs that may come up. With the pecticho being small and portable enough, she was easily able to control all the functions the unit has to offer, in particular changing any one of the four pressure washer nozzles included with the machine. The four pressure washer nozzles I mentioned really add a dimension of what the machine is capable of. While each nozzle produces its own spray pattern, I experimented with which nozzle works best for any given application. I found the pinpoint nozzle and full spray nozzle to be very useful in cleaning dirt and debris, especially from the pet litter trays. The full spray nozzle cut right through fish tank scale. With power washing in general I've always been of the mindset that if you hit the stubborn dirt and grime areas with enough power long enough, they aren't that stubborn. I haven't tried the soap bottle attachment, but I'm sure it will work as well as the rest of the functions of the machine. I really think the pecticho power washer will assist in helping keep our truck a lot cleaner, especially the undercarriage and wheel wells for which dragging out the big power washers is kind of a chore. The pecticho gives a bit more mobility and doesn't take long to get hooked up and washing, so that's a real plus for me as well as my wife having something to easily use when she wants without my involvement. I think the pecticho is a very good machine that should last quite a long time if used and stored correctly. I mention storing correctly as meaning draining all the water out of it which is imperative if you live in a climate that goes into freezing weather for extended periods of time. The price point of the pecticho seems very fair in comparison with similar units I've seen at our local retail stores. I think others will find this product very useful in helping keep things a lot cleaner. We will mainly use this product for our truck and for light but thorough cleaning with our pets and livestock. The biggest problem with this pressure washer is the instruction manual. It is poorly written and leaves out basic essential information. For example, it refers to parts without ever actually showing labeled images of what they are. It is difficult to understand an instruction that tells you to connect one part to another if you don't know which part is which. And, it seems to skip over the mechanics of how to put parts together (there's a lot of inserting and twisting involved in using this device). Taking off a point for the amount of time I wasted figuring out what should have been a simple process if only the instructions had been clear. The first time I tried to pressure wash with this machine, I followed the instructions step-by-step, connecting the garden hose to the machine, attaching the pressure gun, then the shaft and heads (there are 4 heads of various degrees of pressure). Then, started pressure washing and thinking that the pressure was "high pressure" at all--it seems more like a light rain than a gusher. After I finished and started to put the machine away, I realized I hadn't plugged it in (my mistake, plugging in actually was in the instructions). Perhaps surprisingly, the machine works reasonably well with only water pressure without the pressure machine being turned on! When I plugged the machine in and used it with actual pressure, it did indeed do what a pressure washer should do--produce high water pressure. I tried all four levels and all seemed to provide substantial pressure for washing a car or driveway, etc. Didn't really see much difference, but then I wasn't on the receiving end of the pressure so it could have just been my perception. Two of the heads (the lowest and third-lowest) offer a fanned spray, the two others are more of a concentrated pinpoint spray. Overall, I think it's a useful tool for homeowners to have for a decent price. ... show more

This is a nice compact pressure washer. It's small, lightweight and easy to use. There is some very minor assembly required, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The operating instructions are clear as well. The unit has about 15 feet of power chord along with a hose that is at least that long, so there is quite a bit of range for washing without having to unplug and move the base.There are 4 spray tips included so that the spray stream can be modified to fit what is best for the job. they are color coded and clearly marked The unit is very quiet compared to my gas powered washer, and only runs when the water trigger is activated. . It has plenty of power to handle small or medium size jobs. I don't know if it has the power or range to do a large house, but I was able to clean a small sidewalk section in my breezway in less than 15 minutes.
