Bought this for a back ache, now we fight over it. It has several heat and time setting, I personally have used only the 2nd and 3rd for 30 minutes or 1 hr. It feels heavenly in my back and I don't have to worry about leaving it too long since it turns off. This is perfect except for the cord and timer options. The way cord splits in the middle makes it shorter than expected. I also wish the timer options were longer. I need mine to stay on for more than one hour. Now when in pain and I use it I have to wake up at nights to reset it. This is annoying
