TL;DR Not same purple as seller pics. More greyish mauvey purple. Has enough motor strength for cookie dough, cake & beating lard for masa. Not for bread or pizza dough tho. Decent value, & weight, not crazy loud, see video for reference. Easy change attachment & great speed variety. I purchased the purple. It’s not the purple shown in the sellers pics. This color is a mauvey purple. I actually like it more than the purple the seller shows. It mixes up great. I’ve used it for cookies & tamales. I whip the lard before I add dry to my masa & this made it fluffy white like icing, when I had to add masa harina (corn flour) despite having strength to mix it did sound like it was having a hard time. With it having plastic gears, I wouldn’t try it again. I only used it for the lard after that & decided to stick to a stand mixer on anything like that. This is an ok set, good for the price, it seems pretty durable as well, the only issue I have is it seems to have 1 speed and 1 speed only, and that’s FAST. I mean even on the lowest setting this thing is MOVING! , stuff splashes out of the bowl lol which is why I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise it’s just ok. I will keep it as it’s for our 2nd home and not used often, it’s more of a hassle to have to return it ... show more
