The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this for awhile now. My dogs get excited at feeding time. I have 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs. It works for both sizes. My small ones were on a prescription kibble for pancreatitis but I tried this in salmon and they have not had any attacks! It actually saves me money there! I do appreciate the solid poop, especially from the big dogs! I recommended to a girlfriend who has 2 small dogs. Great food and quality! ... show more

Very smelly. My pups enjoyed the flavor. I liked the ingredients. Decent size kibble for med-large breeds. I was unable to leave this in my pup's bowl for hours due to the strong fishy smell. I won't be buying this flavor again. I'm going to try the beef.

I have a Shar Pei/ Golden Retriever mix who rescued me back in 2005. Yep she is that old, but you could never tell it as she run around here like a puppy chasing the cat through the house escaping the yard to steal peoples items to feed her kleptomaniac problem and always ready to give the vet a hard time ( he thought she would mellow with age, now he just wishes he knew her secret). A few months ago when Amazon had this dirt cheap on subscribe and I signed up because my old girl had never tried a dog food with fish. From the first bite my Mooch has been addicted, she will not eat anything else now. When the price went to high I told her mooch we can’t afford these prices your going to have to switch back because it’s unfair to the others; thus began the negotiations where she was not budging. The crazy dogs decision was to pretty much go on a hunger strike, flat out refusing or barely touching other brands including her old one. I attempted to appease her, made efforts to feed her everything within reason but she held out on me like a 60’s hippie protester. When her weight became alarming I was forced to cave raise the white flag and proceed to buy it. Just like that she was back to being her crazy mooch scarfing it down without missing a beat and I’m honestly wondering what is in this food that leaves some dogs seemingly addicted? So not only does she have her expensive food but the other guys now have Blue Buffalo to be fair. Da Mooch is sending me to the poor house and she’s worth every penny ... show more

See my other review in a different flavor! But, man, does Pablo sure get a kick out of this dog food… And still, the bigger 30lbs bags are vital to the integrity of the breed’s chow. Idk, the chow goes in the body and that is it… And Pablo just loves to chow. When I say he grazes on the high quality ingredients all day, I mean it! I hope to see more out of Crave! **Report** Stool sample firm and analyzed by certified veterinarian. No news!!!! Thanks Crave, cheers.     • Feeding my dog this food lead to her getting DCM

I bought this grain free dog food thinking it was best for my dog. After 3 years of feeding her this food I find out that it is what has caused her to now have an enlarged heart. The vet asked what her diet was and when I mentioned that she was on a grain free diet. He told me that if she was healthy prior to the diet change that then it was the food that contributed to her condition. My heart sank as I thought I was doing right by giving her grin free food. Instead of helping her, the food is killing her. For whatever amount of time I now have with her, I will prepare her meals.
