When I ordered the unit I thought the thermostat would control the heater. However it seems that all it does is to tell me the temperature of the soil in which the sensor is placed. I am taking back my review. I found out that the the thermostat really does not connect to the heater...the heater connects to the thermostat! Everything works as advertised and I like the unit. One thing I do want to mention is that it doesn't seem to throw out much heat but my greenhouse went from 60 degrees to 80 overnight with the night time outside temperatures in the 30s. Since I have installed the heater and thermostat in my greenhouse I am seeing my seeds germinate. ... show more

This was purchased for my garage so that my husband could do work in the garage with the colder weather. It works great and really heats up the space nicely and it has a long cord with is a must. We've also used this as a space heater in our drafty living room and it keeps the room warm and cozy.

While this is a smaller heater, it packs a punch in our greenhouse! We don’t have a ton of spare space so this heater was a delightful addition! Haven’t lost a plant yet! Can’t wait to see our greenhouse yield with this addition!!

It was smaller than I expected but it does heat up a room. It heats up rather quickly and gets pretty toasty. It has 2 settings for heat and then just the fan. It's small but definitely works great!

This is just what I need. I like sitting outside but it was getting too cold. This heater is small but it kicks out a lot of heat. I like the size because it is easier to carry. Pretty long cord also.
