I pitched this in my gravel driveway to house my motorcycle, propane gas grill, and a few odds & ends. It worked great. The setup instructions are not particularly clear however. It took 2 of us (my friend is in construction and also a computer techie) to figure out how to put it together and both of us to set it up as well. The front flap's elastic loops did not hold up the front flap when it was rolled up very well--but I only needed the flap to be rolled up whenever I took the motorcycle in or out, so I didn't think that was much of a biggie. I used the tent for about 3 or 4 years until the homeowners association discovered it and decided it was a temporary structure, which are not allowed in the street view. But it was still going strong (none of my neighbors ever complained, since its look was very tidy), even through some snowy winters (Puget Sound area, so no blizzards or anything). It was starting to wear, however. Towards the end there was a tear along one of the poles--easily mended with some dental floss and shoe glue. But I could also see it wouldn't last forever either. Gave 4 because the ropes was missing but figured it out without it since the rope are just to pull the cover to other side then discarded or whatever. It's worth the buy if you plan to set it up permanently. The instructions was pretty simple all in pictures but the assembly was hard. Remember to separate 3 screws in different sizes that comes in one bag, you have to hand pick each of em but all the work is worth it I guess it's really sturdy and completely covered tightly so no complaints especially those screws should come separate would have saved me a good 10 minutes. ... show more

I bought this shed for a place to store my motorcycle. I could have squeezed the bike into a smaller (and cheaper) version but this size allows me to ride it in and out. There's also ample room to work on the bike inside or store other items alongside. It's reasonably sheltered from any high winds so I didn't anchor it. The winter has been mild so the interior has stayed completely dry. But, judging from it's construction, I don't think even a really hard rain could penetrate it. It was easy for one person to assemble. Two pieces of tubing were missing. It took a little longer than it should have to get them replaced but customer support was pretty good overall. This size is too tall to be able to fold the flap back over the roof so I added velcro strips to the roof and flap to keep it open when riding in and out. I'm very pleased with the quality and construction of this shed and don't anticipate any problems. ... show more

This was probably one of the worst, if not the worst, product experiences of my life. I love DIY and I love building things, but this was absolutely awful. As other have mentioned, there are 3 different sized bolts that are probably no more than a millimeter different all jumbled together in one bag. It honestly does not seem that it would make any difference, which makes it even more frustrating to waste time on sorting. Then there’s the poles. Oh the poles. They’re all “labeled” with six digit numbers, but in my experience, most were labeled incorrectly or smudged beyond legibility. There were 3 or 4 poles in my kit that had little nubs on the inside where the hole had been created for the bolt. The nub prevented the connected pole from going in the whole way so we had to use a metal file to grind down the defect so we could get the pieces together. The directions are a nightmare. They don’t really show you what to do, they just give you weird little snippets of what your product should look like. How do I get there?! I really hate watching videos, but I ended up having to here. When I finally completed my shed, which took hours, stretched over days. I felt like I won the Olympics. I moved my tractor in there, I stared at it like a proud parent for a while, and then left it to the elements. We had a little snow/wind storm that night. When I woke up the tarp was ripped and my tractor was exposed! I had done everything right, as far as I could tell from the skimpy directions. I had done the measurements and secured everything. It’s just not a good product. Luckily Amazon allowed me to return, but even that was a pain in the behind because I had to disassemble everything, shove it back in the box, and drag it to a UPS. This 8 x 8 shed was simple to set up if you follow the instructions step-by-step. It helps to have an extra person assist especially when connecting the upper components. Additionally, a step ladder is also needed. Currently using this shelter to house a riding lawnmower and garden tractor. They fit in nicely side-by-side. A great feature on this shed is the door holder. Typically, I have had in the past they provide string through a hole to tie up the door when open. This model has elastic and large knobs to hold the door open with a bungee. It is much more convenient. Cover is thick and durable. Held up very well in heavy rain. ... show more

I bought it to store my summer chairs and fire pit. Less than 9 months is ripping apart. The roof of it is tearing in the center so are the sides. I had to throw a tarp on top of it. The body construction is strong and still holding
