Herniated my L4 and this was the only way I had any chance of getting out of bed by myself when it first happened. Easy to assemble, my 14 year old put it together for me. The only “complaint” I would have is that the straps for the pillow are way too long with only like two inches of Velcro at the end so when you put the pillow on, if you Velcro where it’s provided there’s like an entire 12 inches of slack that just lets the pillow fall to the seat area. We had to tie knots in the straps to shorten them so we could keep it where it belongs. A small irritation but an overall good product. I’m 224 pounds and it raised and lowered me without issues. It’s very firm/stiff but that’s what I needed with a back injury. I like that the remote to raise and lower it is detachable. I set the height/angle to where I needed it and then I unplugged it so my toddler couldn’t get accidentally squished under it. Overall I’m grateful this product existed when I needed it and I would recommend it. ... show more

It is a very good product. We are very satisfied. The only negative commnent I have is the one page "Product user manual". It is awful. One page, two sided, with 19 photographs without descriptions. Items in the photographs should have identifying numbers referring to a list of specific items. (Example of awful presentation are photos 9 and 10.What items go where? ). However, the installation is easy. I had no problems after I discarded the "Manual" and looked at the components. Also ,it can be used without the guardrails when it is installed on a bed and the patient needs to roll in and out of the unit for diaper changes. Very versatile, and good value for the money.
