Bought this chair for my brother who is in a VA nursing home and he is a large man who needs a large heavy duty chair. He states that it is comfortable the chair works fine.     • Battery backup doesn't work
The manual says it comes with a lithium-ion backup battery but what arrived was nine volt battery that does not operate the chair in case of power outage.

Shortly after getting our chair, our dog chewed the main power Supply connected to the chair. It took a bit to get them to understand exactly What I needed, but with many emails, photos exchanged, I Finally got the part I needed and am happy to have a fully functioning chair. As with ALL lift chairs, PATIENCE is a Must because they move SLOWLY. but that's a safety feature. ... show more

    • Not very comfortable and feels cheaply made.
Update: Mega Motion/Pride sent a repair technician out 8/31/22. Technician took pictures of the chair and said it needs replaced and would call with an update in a week. It is now 9/29/22 and still haven't heard back from either WSR Solutions ( the repair company) nor Mega Motion. I have left multiple messages but neither will return a phone call. As of right now I'm just out $1800. Update: 7/20/22 Today the recline feature broke as bolts from the bottom fell out, not sure if it can be repaired. I definitely feel cheated. The chair should have lasted more than four months. I love the fact that the chair came very quickly. 2 days after order, standard shipping. It came by 18 wheeler that ripped down my cable TV line getting up my street. Not the sellers fault kinda funny though. The setup and instructions are very easy and well explained. My main problem is that the chair just feels cheaply made for a bariatric chair. At 488lb I'm within its design weight but I feel the leg rest bow in the middle, the arm rests seem to move in and out from the center of the seat. At $1750 shipped I fear that this chair may not last more than 6 months. I've had it now for about 2 weeks now and my wife has already had to tighten the bolts in it. To me this chair doesn't feel like structurally it was designed for a bariatric person and more for a normal person just with a larger lift mechanism which works great. I'm just afraid of the wooden parts of the chair. ... show more

I have to put my legs up and this chair is quiet and efficient for that purpose. It is comfortable and accommodates my size well. It also assists standing with its lift feature.
