I got this hoping it would help with back pain and sacrum pain. It’s so comfortable to sit on! I started using it on my couch to test it out, then moved it to my car. I had to adjust my seat in the car as I’m 5’7 - it has helped me so much with driving over the past 3ish months. I’m debating on getting a second one for in my house. It is light weight, holding its shape nicely, it does not slip when I’m driving, I love the gel and foam combo and feel those to mixed together is something like this cushion allows it to hold its shape better and give more comfort, I don’t not feel cold when sitting on it but if it’s in your car in the sun it can get very warm. I have only had this for spring and starting summer weather. Not sure how it will be in colder weather. But it will be great for indoor use even outdoor use. This seat pad works well. Textured underneath prevents it from 'migrating' all over the seat. Comfort is good. If you are looking for a 'cloud' to sit on....this is good but you need to know there is some compression in the foam and the get inserts are nice but not perfect. I love love LOVE these ComfiLife seat cushions for my desk chair, recliner and car. My recliner seat has broken down and is too low, and this seat cushion adds the height and support I need. The cover is soft and the cushion is firm and supportive yet very comfortable, and my tush welcomes the coccyx cutout. The only problem is my cat Teacup loves the cushions too. She won’t sleep on the expensive cat bed I bought for her - no of course not - she wants my seat cushions and pushes me out of them. For some strange reason she also likes to chew the material. So about once a year I have to replace the Comfilife cushions. But they are worth every penny. The best colors are black, charcoal and grey. The brown is a bit too light. ... show more

I fell and bruised my tailbone. This cushion allowed me to sit comfortably at mt kitchen table and in my car with comfort. It is generous in size—covers a good part of my kitchen chairs, a card table chair and my car seat. It is about 2.5-3” deep so thick enough to raise my tailbone off the seat but not so thick I feel like I’m sitting on a telephone book! It does compress after a bit, but springs back quickly. I like the carry handle and the “grippy” bottom. The cover is very soft. I’ve not yet needed to wash the cover so I can’t comment on that. ... show more

This pillow is great! It was pretty firm at first but has softened a bit (which I like) but still firm enough for support. It’s a decent size pillow but I was expecting it to be a bit larger (only reason I gave it 4 stars) but it still does the job. I would recommend!
