I don't usually write reviews but I will for this. I've only had my chair couple of days but so far it's been great. It's done everything it said it was going to do. I have to say I was a little afraid that I would like it but I love it and being short it fits really good. I'm only 5ft tall and it's hard to find a chair that will hold my weight and be short enough that I don't feel like I'm being swallowed by the chair. The only thing I would change if I could would be to change it to a leather. Because I'm getting older I have to put a towel underneath me make sure that I don't have any leaks. Chair was ordered October 2nd, however it was not delivered & setup, till late Friday November 27th...just a tad bit more than 30 days now isn't it? This chair is NOT the most ideal for a person with both legs AND one or both shoulders messed up. Transferring from a power chair or wheel chair to this chair is quite a feat. Once on the chair, I feel very safe & comfortable in any position. I just wish the chair arms were a bit softer...just too rigid for my taste. If you have wi-fi inside, you may find that when chair is positioned in upright condition, you may find the chair will cause wi-fi to go squarely ... show more

I have now purchased two of these chairs. I originally purchased one because I have some health issues that require help in getting in and out of a chair. I just recently purchased a second one for my home. The chair does what I need it to do. There are some things I would change. The cushions need improvement, especially the back cushion. However, the chair is not uncomfortable. I highly recommend Jones Glass as the provider. Stan Jones is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the right chair. Ok this chair is amazing. Super quiet motor on the lift and very comfortable without being too squishy. The seat is wide and a decent depth. Family members with lower back issues find it comfortable. It's a good looking chair as well and we went ahead with the white glove delivery considering we live in a basement apartment and didn't want to worry about hefting it downstairs. They were courteous and professional. The only snafu was with delivery, but as this wasn't really a problem with mega motion and they took the time to speak with me personally regarding it, I won't deduct a star. Just be aware that the delivery time they give on amazon is an estimate and probably wrong. This is coming directly from the company and if you go with the white glove service they have to coordinate with you and their drivers and what not. It was about a month before we got the chair but they called the house to set up the delivery appointment and then called again before they actually came the day of delivery. Which all makes sense and I wouldn't have freaked out if it hadn't been for the estimated delivery on the order after I submitted. SO just keep in mind this isn't your normal amazon delivery. Update: Mega Motion/Pride sent a repair technician out 8/31/22. Technician took pictures of the chair and said it needs replaced and would call with an update in a week. It is now 9/29/22 and still haven't heard back from either WSR Solutions ( the repair company) nor Mega Motion. I have left multiple messages but neither will return a phone call. As of right now I'm just out $1800. Update: 7/20/22 Today the recline feature broke as bolts from the bottom fell out, not sure if it can be repaired. I definitely feel cheated. The chair should have lasted more than four months. I love the fact that the chair came very quickly. 2 days after order, standard shipping. It came by 18 wheeler that ripped down my cable TV line getting up my street. Not the sellers fault kinda funny though. The setup and instructions are very easy and well explained. My main problem is that the chair just feels cheaply made for a bariatric chair. At 488lb I'm within its design weight but I feel the leg rest bow in the middle, the arm rests seem to move in and out from the center of the seat. At $1750 shipped I fear that this chair may not last more than 6 months. I've had it now for about 2 weeks now and my wife has already had to tighten the bolts in it. To me this chair doesn't feel like structurally it was designed for a bariatric person and more for a normal person just with a larger lift mechanism which works great. I'm just afraid of the wooden parts of the chair. ... show more

Shortly after getting our chair, our dog chewed the main power Supply connected to the chair. It took a bit to get them to understand exactly What I needed, but with many emails, photos exchanged, I Finally got the part I needed and am happy to have a fully functioning chair.
