These alarms are easy to install and work really well. The sound can be heard from a very good distance. They're a little bulky, but I wouldn't say they're difficult to keep out of eyesight. Very easy installation. Gives you the peace of mind that, your grandchild has not opened the door to the deck with a pool. It’ll actually work with any door not just a sliding door. The sound is selectable from a chirp to a piercing siren. Sufficiently loud to have you come running!

We have a pool in the backyard and a sliding door that goes to the yard. We have the “safety latch” style door but I wanted additional peace of mind and to easy my anxiety when our niece comes to visit. She loves swimming in the pool This is perfect to alert me if the door gets opened when the home alarm isn’t set. Alarm sounds immediately when opened and loud enough to hear from other rooms in the house. Will use the others for our outdoor side gates & any windows that aren’t connected to our ADT monitoring.     • Perfect alarms. Love them.
I absolutely love these alarms. My attached video does not give it justice as it is louder in person. I needed to replace my one alarm that broke because it had an attached wire to a 9V battery that came off. These alarms are super easy to install as all you have to do is peel the cover on the sticky tape and attach were you need it. I am super excited that I am replacing the one clunky alarm and I am getting six in return with this pack. I really need the extra security because I have a four-year-old boy who is autistic and he started to open the garage door and other doors exiting our home. These alarms also come with their batteries in place and they have an on and off switch. I also like that when you close the door (magnets meet) the alarm immediately turns off unlike my original clunky alarm that does not have and on and off switch and does not turn off when The magnets meet you have to press a button on it for it to shut off and sometimes that takes long if you have your hands full. ... show more

    • HELLA LOUD, randomly goes off when first using though.
Both pieces have an adhesive on the back for you to mount them. They stick HARD! I accidentally placed a part of it too far from the other and had a difficult time unsticking it to readjust. I’m a bit nervous to remove it after it’s up there for a while - it may rip off a small part of the wall I feel. If you’re in a setting where you can’t put nails in or anything, I do recommend not peeling off the paper that covers the adhesive and using removable mounting tape cut to size. When I first turned it on, I immediately opened the door to see if it would go off. It didn’t… at first. I left the door open for about 15 seconds before I shut it. Once I shut it and was about to turn it off and back on again, it sounded and scared the bejeezus out of me! Can vouch that it’s LOUD! I’ve only put two up so far and that was the case for both. It now sounds immediately when it’s opened and turned on though! Edit: I’ve taken one completely off just to see. I didn’t have any damage to my walls! I would still use a different adhesive just in case. ... show more
