This top really looks great on my JKU with a 2.5 AEV lift and 35x12.5 tires. I get a few other Jeeps slowing down to check it out on the highway. Gives it a mini truck look that gets mean glances from Gladiators. First, the instructions are horrible as mentioned by others. I put together the door surrounds twice since they were backwards. The rear tailgate bar holder is very easy to break while putting on. I found not snugging down the side screws holding them together until after snapping on the tub helps. When it rains hard some water gets in down the roll bar in the rear trunk area, but not a bunch. Best to take out the drain plugs in the rear storage compartment before or it will fill up eventually. The rest of the passenger compartment was bone dry during a recent camping trip with an overnight deluge. The best part of this is the flip open top. It is simple to use and allows just enough breeze in on the highway. I'm 6'2" and can still drive with a ball cap. The rear window is a snap to roll down. Naturally this top is a bit louder on the highway while buttoned up than a hard top but not terribly so. It's good and tight (you'll find out installing) so hardly any fluttering on the road. Had it on for about a month now, so I can't speak to the durability yet. The top tonneau does stretch in a bit and you may have to adjust the back straps after a while to keep it tight. Overall, I am very please with the value, plus there was a $200 rebate at the time of purchase which gave me more money for more upgrades.

I received this product on Sept 5, 2019. I installed it within a week of getting it. I loved the look and easy access for the top open. However, we had had our first substantial rain last night since putting it in. I am currently driving to work with my feet in puddles of water in the front and back seats. The entire inside of top is saturated !! There is also a hole in the back window where obviously when manufactured it was not sealed properly. However, my amazon return date was October 5,2019. Hopefully, the company will ow return my entire amount I paid for it!

I love the looks of this top and have gotten many compliments in the short time I've had it on. First some notes: The 2 outer footman's loops are replaced with latches, this may mess up you plans for other summer tops and sun shades (VDP, for example usrs a header bar) The top shouldn't be open at highway speed. It stands upright and turns into a giant sail. It appears to have survived the experience. Rear seat inclines do not work. Funny thing is the incline doesn't move the seat back that much, maybe a half inch, but it's enough to prevent the rear from zipping. The top does come off fairly easily, the hinges for the top are on plates held on with the door surround screws. So it's not that much different from any bimini top. Rampage needs to work on the tailgate bar. The design is terrible for a weather seal. Not to mention the need to apply a weather seal to the tailgate with little metal barbs on the inside to scratch up the paint. Luckily it works fine with the oem bar and clips Installation took longer than expected. "Self drilling" screws are a bad idea, best top drill pilot holes. The sun was below the trees by the time I started putting the fabric on and you really want to do that in the hot sun. The corner windows are great! You can tell that the other brands will have an inconvenient blind spot. If Rampage moved the rear window back a half inch, change the latches to work with the OE footman's loops and redesigned the tailgate bar, they would have an exceptional product. As it is though, it's a pretty good product whose compromises may cost them some customers.

This top looks awesome. Fairly easy to install. I live in Az so there was no problem letting the top get warm to stretch. It is a very tight fit. The back window is awesome. The blind spot windows are a game changer. I swapped out my older best top slat top for this one. I couldn’t be happier. There are some gaps By the rear doors that will likely leak some water during storms but I think lined the interior of my Jeep so it’s not a problem for me. If you have carpet or live in a wet climate this may be something to consider. Otherwise the top seems like it is very good quality. Stitching is done very well. Overall, I don’t recommend this top. (I don’t want everyone else to have it) 😜

Product literally sat at the distribution center for 2 days before out for delivery. Prime product and took longer than 2 days. Also, no instructions were provided. Product was defective, missing a part, and did not line up with center windshield loop. Now I have a defective damaged product half on my jeep and need to wait for Amazon to decide to replace the product and probably wait another whole week to get the replacement. Instructions should be included!

This top looks really cool... would be great if it would serve us purpose, but didn't. When we first received the top, taking it out of the box there was one broken plastic piece and also a broken rivet on the fold back frame. I called the customer service number and spoke to a guy who said if I would send them pictures they would send us the parts... I'm thinking we needed the entire frame since it was riveted together. I was able to snap the broken plastic piece together for it to stay temporarily. I emailed the pics, received an automated response and then never heard anything. Sadly it leaks tremendously. Installed it, it rained hard and the JEEP had puddles in it. No idea where it came in from either. But there was literally over a gallon or two of water inside the JEEP. In the front passenger area as well as the back storage compartment and tire jack area. I'm thinking in the back it got in through the roll bar area where the tonneau cover goes around the roll bar. I have no idea how it got in the passenger area though. We are returning this frustrating top. They should pay us for the cleanup. Bye bye new JEEP smell.
