Nice solution for trash and recycling
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 36L+24L
Looks good! The lid mechanism works very well and seems like it will last. It's a nice solution for a smallish kitchen, though sometimes I wish dropping in an empty can didn't expose the trash smell, too.

Well worth the cost!!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 36L+24L
I love this trash can. Our son has one and I kept thinking about it, but I worried about having a little less capacity for the regular trash side of it. We had tried other options for recyclables over the years, but nothing was ideal. I also was very tired of how dirty our plastic trash can with the pop open lid would get. So, we decided to get this and I'm so glad we did. Yes, we have to take out the trash a little more often, but it's worth it! Having one unit for both trash and recyclables, step-on opening, soft closing and deodorizer option in the lid is all wonderful! And it's so nice looking!! This was a great decision!! ... show more

Overall a great trash can!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 25L+20L
Love it oveall- nice quality and appearance, quiet closing, great size for small space. Cons: the charcoal filter is sold separately, the dual bins can be fussy to take in/out :( and the small bin doesn't have the little hole to tuck the excess garbage bag into for a snug fit.

quality bin, a bit pricey but does the job
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 40L+40L
I honestly have never spent this much on a trash can, but it was the perfect fit for our kitchen. Looks nice and we love the easy open/close it offers. Foot pedal to open and it has a 'soft close' that slowly lowers the lid back down so no noisy clacking shut. The bins are regular tall kitchen size and our normal bags fit very well. Its easy to take out and remove the bags to throw away and replace with a new one. Overall it's been worth the cost so far, looks nice in the kitchen and fits well in a small space. ... show more

Scent-sible solution for the kitchen!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 36L+24L
We love this! It closes firmly to block any odors from escaping, it easily fits bags for both garbage and recycle items (accommodating bags of a range of sizes for each!), and each compartment's bagful fills up at a carry-able size for those like us with a few years behind us (not too big, not too small... just right! :-) Solid, durable, attractive, a great performer in the kitchen. Thoughtfully conceived and designed. ... show more

Looks great in kitchen
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 40L+40L
This is a great and modern addition to our kitchen and household appliances. Unlike other trash cans, there were no issues with lid closure or portability. It was a great value for the money and works well with other types of trash bags.

3 Year Update - Still Quite Good for the Price!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 36L+24L
3 Year Update: Still a good option. The main problem with this unit is the hinge system. Plastic hinge attached to a plastic interior of the lid with small thinly threaded screws. Year 1 had the screws backing out and almost losing them. So I used super glue and reattached them. Year 2 happened again, but some screws were gone. I purchased slightly larger screws as the plastic had long since lost it's threading for the original screws. I should have contacted customer service then - but I didn't. It wasn't until nearly year 3 having this, when I did. This was a waste of time. They were kind, but moving warehouses. They never got back to me over 2 months, and finally after I got them again, they pointed out my original claim was 1 day outside of the 3 year warranty. No exceptions. But I was welcome to purchase a new hinge on their parts site. *sigh*. So, if you buy this, and have hinge issues - contact them ASAP. Overall a nicely priced alternative to some of the more expensive versions (Like those from Simple Human) Came in double box to help avoid denting of metal body. In operation is quiet and the flush closing lid is nice for a home with curious toddlers. The only issue we had was that due to the lid hinges all being metal screws into plastic, through normal operation some screws worked their way out. Thankfully I found them all, disassembled the lid and reattached all with Gorilla Glue to be sure. No issues since. ... show more
