The media could not be loaded. Size it cute it’s small and looks great on my bedside table. Love that it has 3 different settings and how easy it is to just plug it in for a charge!

I got this one to replace a different one that stopped working correctly after five days. This one is working much better. It’s a very pretty dark gold and the fluted shade makes it look a bit like a parasol. It goes quite a while before needing a charge. I’m leaving it plugged in because it seems brighter than running on just the battery. My only complaint (hence the four stars) is that it’s pretty lightweight and easy to knock over. I’m going to look for something I can add as a base to increase the weight. Other than knocking it over a couple of times I’m very happy with it. It would be perfect in a location where it’s less likely to get knocked over rather than on a night stand. ... show more

Perhaps my own fault for not looking closer at the image/description, but the shade on this lamp is not black --it's a bright brass-toned. Please see picture where the shade color is clearer. Also, this is a petit lamp that appears larger in the online image. My lamp next to it is 18 inches tall. But this would be just right on a small desk, in a nook on a kitchen counter, etc. The 3 color changes are as described and easily change when touching the button on the front of the lamp (not by touching the bottom of the lamp per the description). The lamp is cute and very original looking. It's more like a nightlight though, it doesn't really put off enough light to make it very useful. Would be good for a dark hallway or something. It's not bright enough to use how I was wanting to, plus it's so small and un-adjustable that it doesn't really help to light up a book or anything like that. This is super light, you can out this in a purse or soft briefcase, it's great to take to a hotel where they always have poor lighting for working at a desk, which is what I wanted it for. Keep in mind, even at its brightest, it is not super bright. Basically it is enough to allow you to turn off overhead fluorescents and work at your laptop. The design is minimalist - there's a switch underneath the base and that's it. Your turn the light on and adjust it by touching the flat top of the light (this took forever to figure out since the instructions said to touch the upper ring). The c type charger does not fit particularly well into the unit (again, this is not a high end lamp) so it's hard to tell whether it's plugged all the way in. But with all those caveats, it's an attractive small lamp that is truly portable. ... show more
