Whether you use the remote control or control it by using the on top of heater controls, it is very easy. Also it is very easy to move from one place to another with the generous built in handle. It does get hot and quickly so curious pets and children should be under and adults control until they learn about it. Maybe they could have a grate type of thing you could put on it which would provide a few inches from the hottest part. It will serve me well in our very cold winters, and extending the warranty is very easy and a good thing to do. I live in a tiny space and this will serve the purpose for me as it will heat any of my small rooms easily and completely. The safety features are typical with the warnings also being typical like don't put it in water, or next to material such as curtains etc. As always a lot of the safety is up to the user, but this does provide a safer plug with a reset function, and automatic turn off for overheating or tipping over etc. It has a nice appearance, and an easy way to clean the filter etc to keep it that way and in good working condition. The instruction booklet that comes with it is excellent not only in the way it is written but it also has print large enough and drawings that clearly depict the parts etc so that even seniors can read it. This was one of the most impressive features of this item. The way it is packaged with a quality zip lock bag for the remote is large enough that you can put the instruction booklet in with it for storage or moving.     • The heater I’ve dreamed of!
First, I ran it for a few hours, pointed out my front door. By the time I checked it, the smell was truly completely gone. This alone makes me really happy. Today, I finally used it to warm up the bathroom. I don’t know what this technology is, but it generates very little wind, and feels like a radiant heater. The front grill does get really hot, and it seems to radiate. I never imagined the luxury of lying in the bathtub and being able to control the heat with a remote. I do know that when the winter comes, getting up in the morning will be so much more pleasant, because I can turn on the heater without even opening my eyes, never mind getting out of bed. Whoever invented this little thing deserves a prize of some kind! ... show more

Been using just a couple of days. So far I think it's great. Using it in the bathroom especially overnight. Oscillation works well. Instructions gives options for turning off sound. Has 3 heat settings using different watts. Eco setting keeps overnight bathroom visits at a comfortable temperature that I set.
