Great Product Needs More Work...
This is a great product... However... It needs more work... This product kept locking me out and the latch in the middle was extremely hard to use... The software in one was set backwards... Locked was unlock... Unlock was locked... Hated I had to return both of them...

I am impressed beyond belief.
I am reviewing a smart lock with camera & video doorbell, 8-in-1 keyless entry door lock with keypad, built-in Wi-Fi, voice control & remote control, two-way talk. I have been a locksmith since 1977, and have installed thousands of locksets and handsets, plus many more items. However, this lockset I believe is the future. At first I believed this smart door lock had a major design flaw that was hard for me to overlook: it orients the deadbolt into the bottom, or knobset hole compared to standard US residential locks. The deadbolt itself being on the bottom is the common layout in the UK/Europe, and I felt it was completely wrong here in North America. However, it wasn’t until I installed it that all became clear to me, which btw (in my opinion) is a genius design. In the US, the standard has been deadbolt on top and knobset on bottom for over a century, because it's more ergonomic and matches what most people expect when they approach their door. However, the integrated biometrics, video camera, and system board are mounted in a way that makes sense as to why the opposite lock orientation. (Once installed, you will not know the difference) I am impressed as to the engineering which went into this lock, from the Alexa App communication, to the video screen on the inside of the door and the Tuya App on your phone which gives you control from your chair. As an old retired Locksmith, I thought I would have a problem reconciling myself to this futuristic lock, but now I want one on all my doors. I highly recommend this smart lock. Oh, and btw, before installation and operation I would suggest you read both manuals, (Installation manual and the user manual)

Decent Features, But Installation Is Challenging
The smart features on this lock are nice. The fingerprint reader, camera, video doorbell, and remote access all work as advertised. However, the design is a bit unusual. The latch is on top and the deadbolt is on the bottom as one integrated unit, which doesn't match the layout of most existing doors. I purchased this to replace an older lock, but ended up having to drill new holes for the deadbolt becauseThe latch is on top and the deadbolt is on the bottom. Installation was much more involved than expected. If you're building a new home or installing it on a new door where you can plan for the required dimensions, it may be a good option. For replacing a standard existing lock, I would not recommend it unless you're prepared to modify the door frame.

Careful during Installation - Top Latch
It is an integral unit with latch on top and deadbolt at bottom, which is a weird combo. Instructions are too much. Since I have installed more than 100 locks, I went with convention - deadbolt at top and latch at bottom. Accidentally the door is locked before installing the rest of the lock. By no means, the door can be opened. Included latch mechanism did not open the door. Look at the pictures - latch broke easily and could not remove the lock or open the door. Had to call a professional to just pry out the lock piece by piece. But the electronic mechanism is amazing. Good rechargeable batteries, minimum noise, and too many electronic features. Appearance viz not a look you want to have in your front door. It looks like a upside down vacuum cleaner.
