So I was excited to get these to be able to have my modem and Wi-Fi reset for about 5 minutes a day in the middle of the night. For some reason the Wi-Fi wants to cut out without being unplugged and restarted every now and then. This solves that problem. The other use I use this for is for a living room lamp for it to come on at 7:00 p.m. and cut off at 1:00 a.m., very convenient to service looking like someone's home when you're not there but also when you're home to have that accent light automatically shut on and off for you. Went from a timer to these plugs and the setup was very easy! I downloaded the app, set that up the night before. All you need to do is plug in an outlet, enter your WiFi details and set up the plug. Very easy to use!
