  • This under the desk treadmill has been excellent for our home
Color: Egofit Walker Pro-M1
The media could not be loaded. With my wife and I both working our desk jobs at home full time, we decided we needed to get better exercise into our days. To that end we’ve been laking about a treadmill - ideally an under the desk one - for awhile. Spending time going through reviews a few things stood out for us with the Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill, mainly it’s size and that it had good reviews. So we decided to give it a try and come away - so far - very pleased. 1. Customer Service: Shortly after we ordered we received a message from the company checking in on us. I can’t remember the exact “title,” but it was something “negative,” but only because it was a default option for them. The gist of the note was thanking us and letting us know we could reach out for anything we needed. This added plus of attention was noted. Customer Service off to a great start. Ironically we needed to use it quickly: they require a signature for delivery - understand, it’s an expensive - but that meant we had to arrange to be home that day. Something to keep in mind when ordering. The issue came when FedEx gave us one date, we arranged to stay home, changing a few things, then FedEx telling us 10 minutes after the delivery time they were not delivering that day. The delivery was the next day. The silver lining here was we told the Egofit people about this via the same type of messaging they’d sent and they quickly responded, apologizing for the issues and saying they’d look into it. The treadmill arrived the next day. These two situations gave us positive vibes about their customer service. 2. The Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill arrived and my wife had to unbox and deal with it herself, by herself. Shortly after we ordered it I ended up horribly spraining an ankle and hurting my other knee. I’m still down for a few more weeks as of this writing, so I was unable to help or so far use the Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill . So to find out she was able to do all this alone made me feel better. It is “a substantial weight,” but not so much so my wife couldn’t handle it alone. She unboxed it and got it set up. 3. Moving it. This is easy for her, completely around the house. We will both use it at our individual desks, which means moving the Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill between two desks in two different rooms and our living room, where it will be kept. It’s narrow enough it can go from space to space in our one bed room condo, not take up too much room in the living room, and fit under our desks in two tighter areas (bedroom and dining room). We don’t have need for a lot of room in our place, but we need to fit things we use, and this Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill fits into that lifestyle well. We do not have a situation where we can keep it under a table or bed, so it’s out in the open, but it’s been fine - and allows my wife to use it in front the tv as well as while working. 4. The Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill is really quiet. We included a video for you to see and hear how it works. As you can tell, there is some sound, but frankly, my wife’s footsteps on the surface in her bare feet sound louder that the machine. (she normally wears shoes, this was simply to demonstrate). She’s used it many times in one room while I’m in the other and I cannot hear. 5. It’s easy and comfortable to walk on. She did use it without shoes and was fine. She normally uses shoes and again, is fine. The stride is great for walking, likely not running, but one should consider length of stride. We are 5’7”-5’5” so we’re fine and someone up to maybe 6 feet should be good, but do take the shorter length into account. 6. The grade is great - or so she tells me - and gives a great workout. She “feels” that slight incline as she walks and feels it does far more than a simple flat surface. 7. The remote is easy to use, but the surface and its individual buttons are a bit hard to read at a distance. They are the same color as the surface and indented, so you’ll have to memorize what’s what rather than a quick glance to see. But my wife loves how easy it is to use. 8. The treadmill is like any - you can step off onto the side to have that space - you know, to step on or off without stoping the unit. I always find this an important safety feature and we made sure she felt comfortable being able to do so. We feel the edge is well done in order to stand there. 9. Back to the size, weight, and movement. We are both thrilled with how easy this Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill to move. The wheels on the one end are great, seeming solid and strong. Simply pick up the other end and you’re pushing or even pulling where you need it to. I’m really impressed with how easy my wife can maneuver it between things in our home. She does not struggle nor worry. And can work it into great spots. We are very pleased. 10. Overall quality really seems to be there and we expect to have it for a good long time. 11. It came with 2 small bottles of lubricant - the Amazon product page had a “bought with it” suggestion for a large bottle of the stuff, so we are considering grabbing that. The instructions (I think my wife said on the product page), say to use the lubricant at structured intervals and we intend to do so in order to keep it working and allow for longevity. 12. One thing we got septette is a cover. While it does not come with one (we’d love to see them add one to their offering), we decided to grab one on our own because of the location where we keep it. We’d already noted things collecting after just one night, so thought the cover might be a good idea - it was and we’re happy. But it also showed us how short the Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill is compared to a full size - which only supposed our appreciation for this Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill - its’ a great size and exactly what we wanted and needed. In the end, as long as this Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill gives us some great longevity, we find it to be perfect for our needs. We wanted something for home, for working and being able to take care of our healthy while doing our work, fit into our life and home, and easy to move. This Egofit Walker Pro/Plus Smallest Under Desk Treadmill gives us everything we needed. We are very happy and I cannot wait to be healed and able to use it - in fact, I think it’ll be great in helping me rehab my injured foot and ankle. In the end, we are happy to recommend. This was a good find and purchase on our part. ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
Color: Egofit Walker Pro-M1
You get what you pay for. I bought a less expensive, highly rated walking pad and had to return the first and second of them because they were both abruptly stopping during my workout. I decided to try to get something better quality and I was successful. There was no comparison between the others I had tried and the egofit walker pro. I’m so happy with this walking pad. The 5% incline really makes a great difference in the workout. You will feel it in the calves and booty for sure. The smoothness of it allowed me to increase the speed of my walk due to not causing me to bounce around while trying to work and control my mouse and keyboard. Just buy a good one from the beginning and save yourself the trouble of returning the junk like I had to. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Quiet, reliable, probably underestimates calories burnt
Color: Egofit Walker Pro-M1
I bought an under desk walking pad that was cheap, try it out so I can walk a work. I replaced it with this treadmill and the difference is night and day better. Belt doesnt slip when starting up and astronomically quieter for walking in my office. Everyone used to be able to hear me up and down the hallway thumping away. Now we can hold a conversation at a normal speaking volume in my office or I can walk while on a zoom call. Only thing- might be a bonus, is that the calorie counter is off a fair amount. It doesn't seem to take the 5% incline into account and appears to use 150# as the standard body weight. When I first got on, I was sweating pretty quick so dropped the numbers into chatgpt and it estimated 540kcal per hour based on my weight, speed and the 5% incline, where as the treadmill was estimating about 250kcal per hour. Using the same chatgpt equation this is what it would be for a 150# person on no incline. Very stable, no rattling or noise with steps. I'm 5'10" and the tread length is just a little short but manageable. ... show more

  • My first under the desk treadmill but not for me
Color: Egofit Walker Pro-M1
This treadmill is 5 stars but it's built for the experienced. This treadmill is not for beginners. I need to be completely honest with everyone reading this review. Should this treadmill be right for you? Within the first hour, I knew why after reading countless reviews of this treadmill and many others. Why certain features are needed. First of all the treadmill itself. It's compact, small, and noise-less. It has very well-lit and readable numbers of time, speed, distance, and steps. The lowest speed is perfect for anyone young and old, but it might be too fast for seniors. The first 10 minutes were fine until I tried the app. The app itself is impressive with its own suggested plans and goals to help you reach your personal potential. The first plan I chose sent me flying backward. I choose a cardio plan for beginners. The treadmill will have a countdown on when to expect the belt to start moving. I would also like to add this is my first time on a treadmill ever. I have never been to a gym before to use a treadmill either. I would have thought before the belt started moving to its desired goal the belt will gradually move in speed so you can adjust your foot speed accordingly. My "beginner" started from 0 to 3.8 in 0 seconds. It's meant to walk fast but honestly, it's more of a jogging speed. I jumped out after a few bumps and bruises trying to avoid severe injury. Now you will be asking why not five stars review. This treadmill is perfect for those "advanced" joggers, and sprinters, and if you are planning to have a standing desk. I bought the egofit walker pro. This means no handlebars to hold on to in case you want to lift up and place your feet on the sides. One feature I thought was best for me is to have the front raised and inclined upward. As a first time owning this type of treadmill is best to have a flat belt. I have big feet (size 12). I found my feet touching the side frame at times while walking. If you skip a step even the slightest you might need to pick up the pace to catch up to the front again because you feel your sole touching the back of the treadmill. Yes, it is small and compact but I agree with some reviews. It's better to have the belt wider and longer. If you are looking to own your first treadmill get a flatbed belt with handles. The only true issue I have is the tape around the box. I understand they wanted to secure the box tightly but trying to open the box meant the tape peeling off the name or some writing on the box. Also, the message saying in other to honor a return the box must be in its original packaging. How would you know how the treadmill performs if there is no unboxing? I will try to return it and see how it goes. ... show more
