Both yse a full size battery, great for use time!!! It adds at least 10 pounds, which for me, is a lot. (5'2", 120 lbs. ). I would definitely rate both the trimmer and blower as nearly commercial grade. Very heavy duty. Not your grandma's tools 😎 I'm a grandma, and they're more heavy duty than I needed for my small fenced (70'x 35'-ish) yard. This combo It’s what I need the 670 bfm blower is very powerful and the 15” trimmer works as intended compare to gas. I whish it came with 2 batteries instead of one since the blower drain the battery fast, but so far is working great.

It works, it's smooth and it lasts a long time; the only complaint is that it doesn't come with two batteries, because the blower eats up a lot of the power. And as a person who uses a lot of power tools, this is indeed better than the Milwaukee weed eater

Disclaimer... I returned the product but yet the 4 stars because the product is good. The reason I had to return it was due to it being quite heavy and uncomfortable to use. Large people will be able to handle the blower easily but short people will definitely find it difficult to use. The weight distribution is bad which makes it uncomfortable. As for the power it is quite powerful (Leaf blower) I didn't try the string trimmer as I was going to return it back. The 2.5 capacity battery is still lighter than the 4 capacity but in comparison to other brands both are heavy. ... show more

I believe for the money and the convenience of not having to use gas, these EGO products are pretty exceptional. With this combo kit I bought it primarily for the weed eater, which works exceptionally well, but I didn't realize how much I would be using the blower. And how handy the blower is to clean the grass clippings off your porch, garage, shed, etc. I also have use it to blow all the debris and rocks from my asphalt entryway.
