The incubator showed up on time and undamaged. We put 12 eggs in it and let it work it's magic. Checked on the eggs every week and they progressed as expected. The water bottle was nice to have, didn't worry about the humidity levels. Had 11 chicks hatch but had to move some out before they all hatched because it was getting really cramped. Once all of them hatched I wanted to clean the bottom and put it in the dishwasher...not a good idea, see the attached photo. I tried to put 12 eggs in here, but they wouldnt turn because my eggs were extra large. I put 8 to incubate, 4 hatched. The water bottle attachment makes a mess, the instructions were minimal. It says to increase the humidity at the end but how??? Anyway it works but if you are clueless about hatching eggs I would look for a different option. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This little incubator is great for a small tabletop. 99 percent hatch with my first use. I did mine a little differently. Instead of using a bottle for water, I would check my hydrometer, and add a couple tablespoons of water in the morning. It keeps it around 40 to 50 percent. I raise up to 70 3 days before hatch. I also put a hydrometer in the incubator to keep better track of humidity. I used to hatch in large incubators, but this one is just as good. I recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Safego Egg Incubator 12-24 did a great job! It hatched all the fertile eggs. Two of the twelve eggs did show any growth inside when candled, so they were removed. The remaining ten eggs hatched with no problems. Be sure to keep the packing styrofoam, as it is used as insulation to provide better temperature control for the incubator. I did keep a eye on it during hatching removing empty egg shells. Allowing more room for the chicks to move around. Not very roomy, It is a compact unit. The temperature is in Celsius, not Fahrenheit as you would find in US. You can refer to our pictures ... show more

This is a 12 egg holder only, does not hold more than 12, even small silkie eggs just 12. Good incubator, easy to put together and use, but does not hold more than 12.

Ducks eggs are too big to fit well and then it will not properly rotate them, so all 9 of my eggs ended up dying from touching the eggshell/ not rotating.
