Instructions includes how to use these tablets. Refer to the manual. As I see it if you are thirsty but the water is polluted you can drop a table wait 20 minutes or so, drink the water you won't die of thirst. Important, please read the manual before using!

I used this to clean water for inflatable pool for kids, so that we dont waste water. Did the math and popped the pills into water then stirred the water and waited it to dissolve. it was very convenient!

    • This is the solution for stored water.
I live in a rural area with a water well, so I have to buy (refill) the 5-gallon water bottles and use them with a water cooler/dispenser for drinking, as the well water here is nasty. One day I discovered that the 5gallong water bottle I buy from a local water seller, developed green algae inside, and we were consuming that in the water dispenser. I had to completely clean the water dispenser with bleach, and run several gallons of clean water through it to have the chlorine taste go away. After that, I now use one of these small tabs in the 5-gallon bottles every time I refill them, so I know that the water inside, won't be contaminated or develop any algae. ... show more
