These worked fine. People were saying that it was hard to get the water through, which I disagree. The first suck had to be strong, but after that, the water came through pretty easily. If you're filtering water to the level these do, you can't expect it to be like a normal straw. I bought four and they all worked. I’m not putting any of the bug out stuff to the test and using this to try slurping from a puddle sitting in a pothole or testing it on my septic tank to drink sewage from it or whatnot. So absent any actual real world testing of anything seems like a good deal to me. So it goes with my bug out bag for emergency use and hopefully never gets used. In the off chance it’s needed someday for my family’s survival it’d be the best money ever spent in history of Amazon.
