Before I get into details, I must say, my wife and I really love this PPOLCA Christmas Cabin, Queen, 3-Piece Bear Rustic Quilt. It's going to go real nice in our summer cabin. And now for the details: I couldn't believe they were able to stuff a 3 piece quilt set in such a small box, but they did. It was folded and rolled tight in a plastic bag and stuffed into the box. It unfolded with just minor creases. The graphics look wonderful, as you can see in the pics. It is quite thin and is no more than a light, 2 ply cover for your bed, so expect to use it in the summer when you don't want heavy covers on top of you. The shams are quite big and should be able to handle any pillows you may have. I laid it on our queen bed to check how far it hangs over. We have a 2" foam topper on our mattress, so it is thicker than normal (14"). In the pic you will see that it just hung to the bottom of the mattress and no further. So be aware that it may be a bit short if you have an extra thick mattress. I included a pic of the stitching around the edge. It's only a single row. Interesting to me is the way the quilt stitching is done. It's not done with needle and thread, but instead it is heat stitched together (melted together). It's a technique I wasn't aware of, but it looks very effective. I've purchased a number of quilts at this price point ($39.99) in the past. This is by far my favorite.
