Ok, it holds water. Lid is big enough. Facet works. With 35 gallon capacity it can weight up to 300 pounds. Don't forget that. Arrived last week. I emptied the plastic shavings from inside. Then cleaned it with 1/4 cup Clorox and rinsed well. Then added RV water conditioner and filled to 25 gallons. With a bed rug in the back of the truck I could move it back (to close the tailgate) or forward to allow the facet to be clear for use. We used it to get water for the dogs while camping and to wash our hands etc. The day we left, we emptied it into the RV tank. Wish it was a few inches shorter so I could leave the bed cover down, but I knew this when I got it. Better than a bladder, especially when moving it around. We used about 10 gallons during the long weekend (4 days) and put 15 into the camper. With just a little remaining. The fill graduations are on the side. Lets you know how full. We run it through a portable water softener when filling. Very happy with the tank.

Excellent. I use this to transport water in the back of my RTV and it works excellent. It is ready to attach a hose to, no leaks, the perfect size. It’s large but leaves space in my RTV for other things. I read reviews on other ones and this one really is perfect. Worth the money all day everyday.

Yeah, I know. “Cute” is normally not a consideration when rating a water storage and transport tank. But, the ladies at the horse stable where we keep our horses were tickled at how cute this tank is. So, “cute” is included in this review. The winter storms here in Northern CA have caused us to lose power for several days, and several times. The well is operated with electricity, so when we lose power, the horses have no water. There is no emergency power generator, so we’re hauling water from the nearest place that has power and water. Hauling 1 gallon jugs of water to keep 14 horses watered gets old after a day or so. So, we bought this water tank. It easily fits in the back of our SUV. It is easy to fill from a garden hose. It stays upright during transport full of water. It delivers gravity fed water via a garden hose to each horse’s water tank. And when we have power, we fill it up, and have a initial reserve of water when we lose power the next storm. Not the perfect solution, but it works. And it is cute.
