Yeah, I know. “Cute” is normally not a consideration when rating a water storage and transport tank. But, the ladies at the horse stable where we keep our horses were tickled at how cute this tank is. So, “cute” is included in this review. The winter storms here in Northern CA have caused us to lose power for several days, and several times. The well is operated with electricity, so when we lose power, the horses have no water. There is no emergency power generator, so we’re hauling water from the nearest place that has power and water. Hauling 1 gallon jugs of water to keep 14 horses watered gets old after a day or so. So, we bought this water tank. It easily fits in the back of our SUV. It is easy to fill from a garden hose. It stays upright during transport full of water. It delivers gravity fed water via a garden hose to each horse’s water tank. And when we have power, we fill it up, and have a initial reserve of water when we lose power the next storm. My gardens are 200 ft from any water source, I have no desire to run water lines to the gardens. I decided to buy this water tank to sit in my lawn tractor trailer. I can fill the tank and drive my tractor over to the raised beds. With a five foot hose I can water the individual squares with no wasted water or effort. The tank is well made with a nice hose attachment. The tank has strap indentations to allow me to strap the tank into the trailer. Very happy with this garden watering solution. ... show more

An extra 35 gallons of fresh water makes it easy to refill the RV when remote camping. We use a small drill driven transfer pump also used around fire pit to quench fire at end of the evening. No bugs as there is a valve on the screw on lid. It’s an extra 300 plus pounds of weight in the pickup bed.
