Style: Above Ground Pool Pump
Only giving 1 star because I'm forced to do so. This filter is an absolute pile of junk, and does NOT work. This is my 2nd one. The first one worked for about 10 minutes, and then quit. Figured it was defective, so I returned it, and asked for a replacement, which I am now writing about as it didn't work at all. The filter is essentially a pump. I know how they work as I am a former Engineer on a Fire Department Pumper, as well as having operated pumps in the Army. I pulled out all the stops in trying to get this thing to work, to no avail. In the instruction manual, they have the gaul to tell you to consult an expert if the filter doesn't work. REALLY? How' s about you make sure your, um "stuff" works right out of the box before you put it on the market? Do not waste your time, money, or effort on this pile of junk.

Took forever to figure out how to prime the pump enough to suck up water because the instructions do not tell you. I ended up doing this: (with the pump unplugged-which is off, no switch or anything) put pump on the ground below what the water level is in the pool, hold the ends of both hoses up (they are only about 4 feet long) and with a gallon jug of water, fill up both hoses. This will also fill the pump. Quickly put both filled hoses under the pool water keeping as much water in them as you can, then plug in the pump -which turns it on. The pump should function correctly after a couple minutes. It does have suction, but not alot so don't expect it to "clean" your baby pool of debris, id say its more just for the water quality. It is fairly quiet and takes a small filter, which one is included.

Worked fine for six weeks and has stopped working after 8/3/25 I’m very disappointed I even bought extra filters and changed it out. I would go with a bigger pump for a round 12 foot blow up blue pool with the white ring.
