This lamp is attractive and stylish, just what I was looking for! It's also easy to put together, sturdy, and relatively inexpensive. Be careful what kind of bulbs you use or the light it gives off could be far too intense. I use 40W e26 LED Edison bulbs in warm white, and they're not too bright at all. (If anything, these bulbs don't give off enough light.) As much as I like it, it does have some drawbacks. I wish the lamp was a little taller. The bulb is the same height as my face when I'm sitting at my desk, and that's a bit distracting. Also, the gold color often looks rose gold, depending on the lighting, and I don't love that. ... show more

Bought this desk lamp to go with the floor lamp of the same style I bought for my bedroom. I'm going for a dark industrial style and it looks great. Very sturdy, even black metal color. Has a switch on the cord to turn on/off. I placed a warm vintage style lightbulb in it, and it looks great, BUT because there's no lamp shade or lip to shield your eyes in any way, it absolutely WILL blind you. I've had to turn myself slightly away from the direction of the lamp on my desk so I can see what I'm doing on my laptop. It looks like it would be possible to add a small lamp shade, based on the layout of the lamp, but that might ruin the look you're going for. ... show more

This lamp is very cute, true to the pictures. I ordered the gold but when I received the lamp it looked like the rose gold so I sent it back and reordered gold. The second lamp also looks more like the rose gold. Not sure if the gold just reads more rose gold or if they have just sent me the wrong color both times. ... show more
