    • A Must for every diesel owner
Get a monitor screen and a Pyrometer for your diesel like the big trucks have. Watch your exhaust temps to save your engine. Real truck drivers always cool down their turbo to 300 degrees before shutting it off. Without a pyrometer you cannot do that. Cutting off the engine hot cooks the oil in the turbo to a sludge that builds up and will not lubricate the turbo bearings and over time will cause premature turbo failure. That sludge is not good for your engine either and not all it caught in the oil filter. If you are too busy to wait a few minutes add an Edge Turbo Timer to this setup and you can turn off your truck lock it up and walk away and when it cools down to your set temperature it will automatically shut off the truck. We have (2)- Ford F-350’s 4 wd with over 500,000 miles each and still running great and on original turbos. ... show more

    • CTS works
CTS came and it is nice and works if needing gauges. However the screen has gone off a few times for no reason. Hooked to wi-fi and downloaded updates, no fix. Is working now tho, hasn't shut off for a bit.

This was supposed to be a kit with the EGT probe. It did NOT come with the probe, and when I called they eventually decided to give me 50 dollars towards a probe. but that was disappointing. It is a GREAT product though. works good unless you have a trailer on, then it shuts off every time you hold the brakes..??? and there are times when it never shuts off. I came out the other morning and the screen was STILL on! ??? not really sure but when its working it works well ... show more

    • First time owning a edge product
My first experience with a monitor for bojó le sensor outputs. Definitely a plug and play system. Purchased with the EGT EAS unit. For a 2006 5.9l the monitor picks up trans temp, coolant temp, fuel rail pressure, engine load, boost pressure, intake temps and many other parameters.

This thing is a piece of junk. I saw all the naked reviews and decided to try it anyways. Bad idea. The thing freezes almost every single time I drive my truck. Has to be unplugged or reset I’ve tried updating it still is horrible to live with. And now the Mountain keeps falling off the window no matter how many times you try to stick it. ... show more

Picture shows it with an EGT sensor, does not come with it. But works great, can monitor engine. Was having fuel problems, could monitor and clear codes, didn't even have to shut down the engine to do it.

    • Intermittent power failures
Although I like the features and ease of installation, it randomly shuts off, won't turn on, or stays on after the truck is off. Maybe I should say consistently, randomly does these things because it's like every other day. You never know if it will work or not. Un and replugging in the OBDII does nothing, but the the connecting wire to the head unit does. However this means every times I have to take it off its stand to access the cord. Not convenient at all and quite frustrating to be heading down the highway and your gauges blink out or coming out at midnight to find them still on. It's 50/50 in the morning if they will turn on with the key. I am not the first one (nor likely the last) to say this or have this problem. See the other reviews and get the extra years warrantee with Amazon. You WILL need it as much as I now wish for it. ... show more

    • Update before using
MAKE SURE TO UPDATE BEFORE USING. I made the mistake of installing the monitor before updating so I had a few bugs. Updated the device and solved all of my issues! I’ll never use pillar gauges again. Great product!
