  • Perfect in between size saucepan
Size: 2 Quarts
Very nice saucepan. Easy to clean. I like the vent hole on the top of the lid. Saves food from boiling over.

  • Good Pot
This is a really nice pot. Just the size I was looking for. The walls of the pot are a little thinner than I'd expected, but the base is maybe three times thicker than the walls. So, there's even heat distribution. It was out of its original wrapper, so someone must've returned it. But, I inspected it thoroughly; it was in perfect condition. I guess it wasn't exactly what some customer wanted. But, it's exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size for beans and small stews. And, it's oven safe, so I'll be trying a few Dutch oven recipes in it. ... show more

Very nice. Only caution is that handle gets hot. I keep a pot holder handy.

  • A very informative read about this pot. The pot IS in fact stainless steel A very informative read about this pot. The pot IS in fact stainless steel
Size: 12 Quarts
UPDATE: Jan 18, 2026 It’s been brought to my attention recently that someone in my household used this pot and allowed it to cook dry when they failed to watch it and the pot ended up burning which caused the hot mess in the pics. I was about to throw it out but decided to use the vinegar/water trick and see if this pot is in fact stainless steel or some other mystery metal. I put one part water to 2 parts vinegar in the bottom of the pot until the bottom was completely covered, then heated to boiling point then shut the stove off allowed the pot to sit for 10 minutes. The discoloration came out as seen in the updated pic(5th one). To get the discoloration off the bottom, I used Barkeeper’s Friend and everything came off except a little of the scorched discoloration which isnt a big deal for me. By allowing the pot to cook at high heat and burn, the pot warped on the bottom. Nothing can be done about that except not to allow that to happen to begin with. I also found out the bottom has a thin layer of stainless steel wrapping the pot’s true bottom. Is that what they call cladding? I dont know, not familiar with cladding but the pot is two pieces. In conclusion, I have changed my rating from one star to four stars as soon as new information come to my attention about what really happened to this pot and the pot is, in fact, stainless steel. I would buy another one and make sure no one else used it as it’s been proven no one else here knows how to respect other’s things by allowing damage to my pot and not owning up to it sooner. Also, to get rid of that “rainbow” look stainless steel is so famous for getting, use the vinegar/ water solution 2:1. This also works for mineral deposits, that infamous “cloudy” look hard water users get when using stainless steel. My apologies to the seller and the makers of this pot for the initial low rating. It was an honest one based on the information I had at the time which was I thought the damage was caused by normal every day use and no possible way it could be stainless steel looking like that with just normal use. Little did I know there was more to the story until recently. But rest assured, this pot is stainless steel or else the vinegar wouldn’t have dissolved the discoloration. The last two pics are the more recent ones after the vinegar/water treatment. Use this solution clean your stainless steel, it works great. The bottom of the pot was warped because of the actions of the person who used it incorrectly, so vinegar wont fix that but vinegar did get that “rusty” look off it. The pot stills functions, will boil liquid still, so Im going to keep it and use it. Just dont let the pot run dry and you will be fine. Seasoned cooks know these things, amateurs not so much ... show more

  • What a great stock pot
Size: 8 Quarts
I am known for my famous meatballs I’m always asked to bring them to parties out door bar b queues and family gatherings I recently moved and couldn’t find mall -Clad stock pot and needed to get a replacement because I was asked to make them for 20 people for Thanksgiving I read the reviews and I have to say you will not regret picking one up. It’s even got a small hole on the top That lets out the steam. So inexpensive but not cheap. And for everyone complaining about the large label when you unbox it.. here’s my tip Take a blow dyer heat it up and bam! Off it came with no residue You won’t be sorry with your purchase And I am an all clad fan I think I like this one even better my all clad is very heavy and a bit large Enjoying this pot immensely and it cleans and dries beautifully in the dishwasher if you have one and cleans beautifully if you don’t ... show more

  • Not Impressed After A Couple Months Use
This was a replacement for an aluminum ceramic interior Dutch oven I really liked. The non-stick surface pitted and I decided to replace it with stainless steel this time. It's difficult to find a well made stainless Dutch oven for a reasonable price. This Ecolution was about the cheapest I could find. It did have some things going for it. I actually like a glass lid for a quick peek of what's going on in there. It also had the aluminum encapsulated bottom to spread heat evenly. That said, don't expect All Clad results from this pan, watch your heat so you don't burn your sauce. The handles are solid enough and the knob on the lid doesn't get too hot. One of the best attributes is the shape and design. So many Dutch ovens have too tall of sides. The Ecolution is shaped just right for braising in the oven. I'm not a fan of the way the lid sits on top, and the side walls are a little thin so food tends to scorch on the sides (that's why I took a star). Since it's stainless cleanup is a breeze if you soak it with a squirt of Cascade (or just throw it in the dishwasher). Overall it's a nice Dutch oven for the money. Update 6/23/2021: Mea culpa. I deleted a negative review and I am updating my review (again). I've completely reversed on this. Yes the lid rattles when boiling something, but it's just a signal. After several more uses it does spread heat fairly well and you can simmer things on low without scorching them. What I've learned to like about this Dutch oven is the stainless interior. You do have to be careful not to scorch certain foods such as chili or marinara, just keep the heat very low, but the ability to sear certain foods properly is a plus. It turns out I'm keeping it after all. Sometimes you need a non-stick, other times you need stainless. It's really a good stainless pan for the money. ... show more
