1st let me state it was my fault. I searched for EGO cultivator and ordered this ECHO cultivator when it popped up. It was several weeks (5) before I had a chance to use it. Low and behold this ECHO did not work on my EGO. They stated it had been too long. If anyone needs an ECHO one let me know. I have a great deal for you! ... show more

For the record, I am using this with the PAS-2620 head unit, so I cannot say how it performs with smaller engines. But for me, this little thing rips up ground like no tomorrow. Small rocks, compacted soil and clay, grass and even SMALL roots are no match. The resulting dirt is FINE sized, very well ground up. It is a bit tricky aiming the dirt tailings, but nothing a few minutes of raking won't fix. Note: make sure to bring the attachment up to full RPMs before touching the ground, otherwise it will kick hard forwards. Also make sure to ease towards delicate plants or walls, it can kick you forward into your precious plants if you are not prepared. ... show more

    • Powerful & compact. Tiller really churns soil. Inexpensive. 5 stars. Echo products are superior.
Small yard. Needs tilling. Got tilled. Very satisfied. You could till a 2x4 space or larger. Saves your back and makes it possible to win the war against weeds in smaller backyards and spaces while bringing serious power to bear. I am very impressed, as i have always been with Echo products.

Excellent product for light cultivating or preparing harder soil/clay for digging or planting. Generally easy to handle with the Echo head.

    • Good concept bad execution
I was hoping the attachment would have had similar capabilities equal to the mantis cultivator but came up far short. Additionally the position of the tines to the power head are far from comfortable requiring way too much down pressure.
