Pedals too small. Had to buy longer straps. Pedals still too small to hold longer straps. Machine too low. Had to raise front with 2 inch blocks to keep my heels from hitting the ground. Okay, so I ordered this bike as a replacement for one that broke. It arrived quickly and was packed well. Which was a good thing because that box had taken a big hit. The bike and parts was fine and went together easily. Instructions were clear and well marked. The bike is completely silent. I expected a bit more resistance with 16 levels but it's workable. Positioning in either upright or recumbent is simple and easy. Now for the couple of issues, one that is irksome and one that may wind up being highly annoying. First: the computer is metric measurements only (what's up with that??). Second: the bike has non-standard crank shaft openings. Standard clipless pedals DO NOT fit so you are stuck with the flat pedal/strap combo that comes with it. The straps are the weak link and will fail (sooner or later). The ability to use your own personal clipless pedals and shoes provide more efficiency and safety. Except for those two issues the bike is cost effective and well built. This bike was easy to put together...the screws came in number bags that match each step in instructions..it's 350lb weight max and this suits my body right now until I lose more weight..only thing I may need to do is tighten screws...

It took me about 75 minutes to put this together. The instructions are subpar but you can figure things out without depending on the limited instruction. I am 6'1 and I do not get enough leg span with this bike. If you are taller than 5`11, you might want to look into another bike. In addition, the top tension level is not much of a challenge. Overall, the bike is sturdy and does what it is supposed to do. If you are looking for midtier or top level performance, try another bike. ... show more
