I bought the 1200w kit for my wife and then purchased the 1500w kit fir myself. We are really enjoying these bikes. I am hitting max speeds of 45mph on the 1500w and around 37mph on the 1200w on full throttle. It took about 45 minutes for me to install. I used the 52v 16ah shark battery from Ebikeling for both kits and can get around 40 miles on a full charge without pedal assist. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

I bought the 700C 48V 1200W motor and paired it with an 18 AH battery. Top speed is 26mph with pure motor. I have ridden it over 22 miles on a single charge using only the motor, and the battery showed about 15%-19% left. The package is very nice and easy to put together. All of the connections are color coded and everything looked to be of acceptable or even good quality. The rim weld looked a bit shoddy, but so far (50 miles ridden) it is holding up nicely, even with hard riding. Overall a very good buy, and a real blast to ride! ... show more

The motor worked out great. I really prefer a front hub to the other options and Ebikling came through with a great product for the money. I had some trouble with the motor and they were very responsive. Great customer service!

Just finished installing on my tandem bikes. I had to do some modifications to make it work. The kit is awesome so far. I will ride the bike more and add more info. So far everything is working perfectly and I try contacting the company and they were so responsive. For price is a steal. // one year latter I bought this 7/15/2019 and wrote less than 200 miles on it. Rim got cracked and can not be true, I emailed the company and it was their response Sorry for the issue you have with the rim. Unfortunately, we are not able to replace it as the unit is no longer warranty covered. So disappointing . That's why it was cheap .I learned my lesson. ... show more

This kit is really good, the only things I would like to improve is: 1 / the thumb throttle wouldn't work with my shifters, I had to cut part of it off, repair it with epoxy putty, and mount it upsidedown to make it work. 2/ I wish they gave a kit and instructions to custom fit the wire lengths. I am sure I can come up with a way to do this , but it would be a nice touch if this need was anticipated. The 500w has plenty of power for my needs, and is a joy to ride. ... show more
