The bottom 30” of the swing chains are coated in yellow plastisol to allow for a soft, pinch-free grip that is comfortable for even the smallest fingers! The bucket seat is constructed with high- durable co-polymer plastic that is highly durable, heavy-duty and rust- resistant. Eastern Jungle Gym swings are guaranteed to fit all Eastern Jungle Gym swing sets. From the Manufacturer High Back Full Bucket Swing is fully enclosed with a unique high backrest for additional support, and features heavy duty, all-weather, rust-proof design. We have a 90%+ 6 month old size wise (almost sitting completely independently) and she looks tiny in this swing. I don’t think she will fall through with close supervision. It will be a really good swing when she’s 1 years old. My husband asked if I bought the “big” bucket version so I went back to Amazon to double check.
