The shield was easy to install even though my heater is not an East Oak. It fit perfectly and it definitely keeps the heat toward our table. I am very happy with this item. The one thing I don't like is the blue wrap they put on to protect it. It was a pain to remove it. It took longer to get all the blue off than to actually install it. Some bubble wrap or paper would have done just as well. ... show more

No issues with the product performance. During assembly, one of the bolts had damaged threads. Customer service was quick to respond and shipped a replacement hardware kit very quickly. Good job!

    • Large Reflector
This ONLY FITS East Oak lamps. I tried it on another model and it didn’t fit. The reflector tends to angle inward which is annoying. It’s the second type I’ve tried and I like it least.

    • A little difficult to align correctly
Yesterday I installed the reflector panels.I have some observations. I recommend that the support bracket should be provided with SLOTS instead of HOLES to attach them to the screws that support the top burner assembly. It becomes very difficult to align the bolts correctly (you have to remove 2 to attach the support bracket). I struggled. Ended up with attaching only one side of that bracket. ... show more
