This is a good Greek olive oil. Use it in cooking, baking, on bread, salads, and as a skin and hair conditioner. It does have a slightly bitter after taste, but it is very smooth. Bitter is a characteristic of fresh olive oil. Some think it is a sign of better quality product, because the polyphenol content changes during over time, so fresh olive oil can be more bitter. Arrived double wrapped in bubblewrap. No breakage, no leaking. Flavor is fresh with a nice slightly bitter finish. I much prefer this to the bland buttery smooth olive oils and the price is very reasonable. Overall very pleased.

This tastes very good, nice "green" notes. In a one-person household, I finished it in under 4 months - that is how good it tastes. Won't be buying again though, because it leaked in the packaging - the Amazon box, the cap is too awkward for me - it relies on both pressure and screwtop, and, it pours way too fast. ... show more
