    • Excellent inflammation reliever
My horse developed a "shoe boil" in his front armpit that wouldn't heal. I've had the vet out twice and spent over $1,000 treating this thing. I've tried various medicinal products and I'm still dealing with it. However, the one that seems to help the most is this Hot Spot Relief Spray. It began to develop proud flesh and the flies were horrible. I couldn't keep it covered because my horse would just rip off the bandage. It's been over a year now.     • Strong smell but my dog didn't mind.
Tea tree oil is strong, and I thought it might put my dog off. It didn't. He's hated creams, lotions and sprays I've tried. He would roll around or to lick it off. He has never tried to rub it off or lick the spray. It has an immediate calming effect and he just lies down and goes to sleep. I began using it at the first sign of any skin irritation whether it was a hot spot or scratching, and it stops the irritation right away. Over time I used it less and less. He is a long-hair Chihuahua with very fine hair. I sprayed one hand and with the other part the hair around the irritation, and apply it directly on the skin. He has medication for sensitive skin and a second one for hot spots. He's a little guy, only 7 lbs., so I don't like giving him strong meds. Now I use the spray instead of the medication. I also put a homeopathic Boiron Arnica Montana 30C 3 pellet in his wet food if there is itching. Together at last there is a skin care routine that works. Update: After a couple of weeks of hot spot free a large one showed up at the base of his tail that he was licking, licking, licking. I shook the bottle, applied to the skin, immediately started to heal, no more licking or stress, and he went sound to sleep for a nice nap. Phhhewww. Thank you again. ... show more

I've used this on two occasions with my pittie. Once for an area in between two toes that was basically the early stage of a hot spot, and the second time for the irritation seen in the photo of his underside near his groin. On both occasions, it took just TWO applications (two consecutive days of applying) of this stuff to COMPLETELY eliminate the issue. With the belly redness, I was just blown away by how quickly it solved the problem. I was determined to try a home remedy before going to the vet (he was so miserable with the licking and trying to scratch) and I am glad I did. I recommend this product wholeheartedly. ... show more

MY PET IS AN ALASKAN ESKIMO, MEDIUM SIZE ABOUT 23 LBS. ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO HE BEGAN HAVING HAIR PROBLEMS. THE BREED IS KNOWN FOR HAVING SENSITIVE SKIN AND DOES SHED. WHEN I BROUGHT HIM TO THE VET FOR THE HOT SPOTS. MY VET GAVE HIM A STERIOD INJECTION, SOME ANTIBOTICS AND A MEDICATED SHAMOO FOR ME TO BATHE HIM. THIS HELPED BUT THE CONDITION REMAINED, JUST NOT AS SEVERE. THIS YEAR IN THE SPRING TIME THE CONDITION RETURNED, THE VET DID THE SAME. BEING NOT SATISFIED I TRIED SOME OTHER MEDS , UNTIL I GOT THIS EARTHBATH , THE CONDITION PERSISTED. NOW THAT I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR SOME 2 MONTHS, I AM SEEING IMPROVEMENT, EACH WEEK MY COMPANION IS LOOKING BETTER.
