My 5 yr old just started playing basketball and we can’t always go outside, so having this in the house has been awesome for him to keep feeding his love of playing. So fun to watch. I’ve played a lot of these games. They all have dunkable rims and sturdy backboards. The difference with this one is the scoreboard and announcer. The announcer really adds to the experience—makes everything more fun.

This is the perfect way to get your kids off their screens. Fits most door frames and hasn't ruined any due to the pads on the brackets. It does make a bit of noise when the ball hits the backboard, but that doesn't bother me. Construction is solid and the basketball bounces nicely on the ground. Did a lot of research on these bball games and this is as good as it gets! We have one of those Skilz hoops at work and the difference in quality is immeasurable. The overall build is super sturdy too, there's no give or flimsy part that will give you pause to it holding up for several years to come. The scoreboard and announcer are great—I’ve never seen those on any other machine like this. The price is slightly more than the others but you really do get what you pay for. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc it’s a gift for the holidays so my almost 11 yr old grandson didn’t open yet. Looks very well made and sturdy. Only negative I see as possibility is the assembly looks a bit complicated.
