Packaging wasn’t great as one of the hangers poked through the box and it wasn’t taped closed very well. Installation was very easy. Hardest part was getting old muffler out of the rubber hangers. Overall time about 30 minutes. It’s not too loud as others have said with the throaty sound. I bought the clamp as well which I’m glad I did. Looks great, fits perfect and would buy again. May get some tips for it to finish the look. My check engine light came on after initial start but, did turn off after driving a bit. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Does not come with a clamp, at least mine did not. Muffler was dented, FedEx took real good care of throwing it around their truck. Honestly the muffler does sound good, it’s not loud and it has a deep tone to it, if your looking for something fair priced and better than stock this is the way to go, ... show more

    • Well worth it!
Ok, if your are a true jeep owner, you never are finished with the add-ons (Just Empty Every Pocket). This is one item that I truely suggest for 2011 models and any other models it may fit. The price is outstanding. The install was about 30mins. The sound...... very rhythmic and smooth with a dash of you hear me coming (so move). The performance seems like you are in another vehicle. I have put an air intake about two months ago and why I did not just both at the same time is now beyond me. If you done one, do the other asap! Again, the price is very affordable. I do have to let you know..... if you have a soft top (like me) the interior sound will be very loud. Lastly, Amazon is amazing! I paid for the one day shipping and it seemed as though I got it less than a day. I have said it before and I say it again, Amazon needs a retail store! *lllllll* ... show more

    • Despite sold as new, this is a used (several times) item.
Item arrived used, with at least 3 still partially readable UPS labels on it, several dents and scratches, water inside of muffler. It would appear several people gave this item a try before me. However it does fit well and sound good.

    • Great sound - easy install!
Fit right on to my 2013 JKU with no problem and gives a great sound. Removing the OEM muffler is simply loosening the exhaust pipe clamp then pulling the mounting "ears" through the rubber clamps on each side. Took some tugging/pulling/cussing but otherwise the hardest part of the job is removing the stock muffler - WD40 is your friend! This muffler then slides right back in place; buy a tube of muffler/tailpipe sealer and slather it on too. This came with a clamp and connected easily - whole job took about an hour (I also have a 2.5" body lift which makes underside access very easy). Noticeable improvement in sound - throaty, deep sound particularly at ~1,500 RPM range on my JKU and I do have a Cold-Air Intake which probably adds to the bass sound; muffler didn't impact MPG good or bad. This muffler is also significantly smaller than the OEM and you'll get improved ground clearance. I also used black spray paint (high-heat engine block enamel) on it before install and it blends nicely into the underside...dual exhausts do not protrude beyond my factory rear bumper; no need for exhaust tips either. ... show more

Good quality, perfect fit, great sound, excellent value. Specifically I did not want long tail pipes sticking out the rear of my jeep that rocks would eventually destroy. These pipes are nice and tight. Highly recommend. 👍🏼

    • LOUD in a 2 door
I've had this muffler installed with a resonator for almost a year. Thinking about putting the stock muffler back on. It is too loud for a 2 door. If it was about 50% quieter, it would be perfect. I like the looks and the extra clearance.
