Very nice muffler for the money. Definitely makes the ole jeep sound mean WITHOUT being obnoxious. Construction seems to be of high quality. Installation was easy ( once I managed to get the only exhaust off) Only downside I see is that it does not come with an exhaust clamp. The dual tips are just pipe, no caps which is fine for me considering I wheel my Jeep and I'm probably going to smack the exhaust into rocks which would break any caps off. This muffler is low profile compared to the stock muffle, which is nice for ground clearance. All in all, a very nice sounding/quality muffler considering the price ... show more

    • Great Product, but very loud
I installed this on my 2008 4 door JK. It looks fantastic and was a very easy install. However, the increased volume of sound makes driving the jeep not enjoyable. My wife had to cover her ears. We had the doors and top off and conversation was not possible and I felt bad going up a hill in a residential area. I am giving the product 3 stars because it looks great, but I wish the description mentioned the increased volume levels. I am taking this product off and installing a factory muffler so I can enjoy my jeep again. ... show more

    • Great sound - easy install!
Fit right on to my 2013 JKU with no problem and gives a great sound. Removing the OEM muffler is simply loosening the exhaust pipe clamp then pulling the mounting "ears" through the rubber clamps on each side. Took some tugging/pulling/cussing but otherwise the hardest part of the job is removing the stock muffler - WD40 is your friend! This muffler then slides right back in place; buy a tube of muffler/tailpipe sealer and slather it on too. This came with a clamp and connected easily - whole job took about an hour (I also have a 2.5" body lift which makes underside access very easy). Noticeable improvement in sound - throaty, deep sound particularly at ~1,500 RPM range on my JKU and I do have a Cold-Air Intake which probably adds to the bass sound; muffler didn't impact MPG good or bad. This muffler is also significantly smaller than the OEM and you'll get improved ground clearance. I also used black spray paint (high-heat engine block enamel) on it before install and it blends nicely into the underside...dual exhausts do not protrude beyond my factory rear bumper; no need for exhaust tips either. ... show more

Muffler was easy to install and get level. Worst part was getting old one off as well as the removing the stickers from shipping. It did arrive in a giant box. Definitely has a drone inside from about 1500-2500rpm but isn’t crazy loud out back. Time will tell how it holds up to the elements but happy with it so far. ... show more
