Purchased this with the resonator 53749 and two clamps 35336, 35337. Unbelievably, Chrysler smartly clamped the cat to the muffler so that a replacement can be installed without welding, cutting, etc. OR you think so... 1) While cold, spray penetrating oil on cat-to-muffler clamp nut (if possible, soak a few days ahead and don't catch yourself on fire ding-dong) 2) Undo clamp nut at cat-to-muffler joint 3) Cut resonator off behind rear axle and remove both resonator and muffler (spray penetrating oil on rubber hangers to make that easier) 4) Most likely you'll need to cut the muffler off NEAR (not at) the cat joint because the parts will be rusted together - more power to ya if you can separate the muffler 5) Align and bolt it all back together using the OEM hangers and purchased clamps The clamps I bought will work for most applications but my advice is to buy 2 1/2 inch band clamps to properly seal the joint from the cat to the muffler. Great Product-- Installed on 2009 Town and Country Limited 4.0. Very Quiet. Used (1) 2.5" Lap Joint Band for one end and (1) 2.25" lap Joint band for the other end that I also bought on Amazon. DId NOT use any muffler paste with these bands. The Lap Joint bands are the way to go. Easy to use and sealed the Joints excellent.

Pro’s: Excellent Price & Fittment. Cons: Low grade (magnetic) stainless, (rough) ram bends, shipped unboxed. Install was easy. I re-used the Resonator (tail pipe) by splicing it in with a 2-1/4 (sleeve) Adapter and 2 Clamps. See pics. PS use a Channel-locks to push the mounting pegs out of the hangers.

The Walker Quiet-Flow SS 55559 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler is an impressive product that delivers both performance and durability. Once installed, it noticeably reduces exhaust noise, giving my vehicle a smooth and quiet ride. The stainless steel construction is high-quality and appears built to last. The direct-fit design made installation relatively straightforward, saving time and effort. It lined up well with my vehicle’s exhaust system, and just some minor cutting were needed. However, one issue worth noting is that the muffler arrived without a protective box. While it was wrapped ends for shipping, this left it susceptible to bends in some areas during transit. While these didn’t impact its functionality to the degree, it’s something to consider if you’re expecting a new product on arrival. Overall, this is a great muffler for those looking for a quiet and reliable replacement, but the packaging could definitely use some improvement. PROS: Reduces exhaust noise effectively for a smooth, quiet ride. Durable stainless steel construction designed to withstand wear and tear. Competitive price. CONS: Ships without a protective box, increasing the risk of bends during transit. I would prefer packaging for peace of mind.

The media could not be loaded. This fit. Perfectly on my 2010 Chrysler Town and country it took about 15 minutes to do the actual install and everything was lined up accurately make sure you get good quality exhaust clamps the cheap ones will just bend and the exhaust will leak the other thing you need to do is make sure to cut off the excess thread because it will scrape against the floor when you drive up a curb.

This replacement part completely rotted and became disconnected from the OEM pipe in less than four years. The OEM pipe from 2009 is still there, indicating this is extremely subpar in material choice. I want expecting OEM quality, but less than four years is not acceptable.
