It is definitely louder than stock with low rumble at idle and during acceleration but without drone. I installed it on a F150 2019 5.0 going from 100 lbs. to 40 lbs. and improved the MPG. Now you can here the V8. It is half the size of factory muffler and definitely better quality on surface.

Quality muffler, looks great and has a nice mellow tone. Perfect for someone who wants some noise but doesn’t want to be screaming everywhere they go. I bought this to replace an MBRP muffler from a 3rd gen Tacoma cat back system. The MBRP was too loud and droned too much for my liking, this muffler toned things down but still makes some noise. If anyone is making this same switch, I had to cut about 3 more inches off of the forward pipe before I could clamp this one in place.

Yes this muffler is louder than stock exhaust. Yes it drones, especially from 67-74 mph. Don't believe when people that say it's "barely louder than stock" on website reviews, YouTube, social media, or retailer videos. Trust me, it's loud enough to notice and yes the buzzing drone sound is present at highway speed. HOWEVER, I would definitely say the muffler is not too loud overall. And I would say the drone is "bearable" going down the highway. Just be prepared to deal with it. I put this on a 24 f150 5.0 for reference.

Worked great on a 2022 Ram TRX that is a daily so I wanted it quieter. (It has cut outs so loud is not a problem) they are HUGE! Was not expecting this. Would not don’t on and Car I can think of. 1500-2500 gas trucks only. Great product and build quality. If I did it again I would choose something different based on price alone. They are expensive and other can do the same for cheaper. No HP gain or loss running 2 3” mufflers after the factory x-pipe. The truck did gain 45lbs from these also. So be sure you have room and know how heavy they are.

I installed this muffler on a '95 F-250 with a 460 big block in conjunction with a QTP electric cutout. The goal was to have a stock sounding, but free flowing exhaust with the option for straight pipe dumps. The muffler does an excellent job. The truck is just as quiet as it was with the stock restrictive muffler and 24" long (very) restrictive catalytic converter however, the straight through design makes for very nice flow characteristics which have not impacted my power at all. Highly recommended for those need a quiet but free-flowing muffler. I've had the muffler on the truck now for almost 9 months. The stainless steel has discolored slightly from heat as well as holding road grime, but it appears that it's a nice high quality stainless that is not going to rust itself.

This muffler is super quiet. If you're looking for a deep tone at idle and gets loud we with acceleration, this is not the muffler for you. This muffler is designed to be very quiet. I placed this on my 92 Z71, and without the cats, it's very quiet. I can hear it when the truck goes above 2k RPM. And even then it's still quiet. I can carry a conversion in person or on the phone and not have to worry with any drone or reverb. I'm very happy with this muffler, because I was looking for a really quiet muffler. I've ran flowmaster's on every truck I've owned and this is my first MagnaFlow muffler. The construction and quality is superb. I would buy this muffler again without any worry or doubt.

Canʻt be more pleased. Expectations were right on, the 22" magnaflow performs well and the sound is just right. Nothing raspy and pocket rice rocket sounding. Low growl and nice flow. In cabin drone is next to nothing at higher rpm speeds. Great quality, very satisfied

I bought this to replace a muffler in a competitor's performance exhaust on my 2002 Chevy Suburban. That muffler wasn't loud initially, but became extremely loud after adding longtube headers with no cats. I installed this Magnaflow muffler in place of the other one, and the difference is night and day. Nice mellow rumble at idle, and a good sound when you hit the gas. No drone on the freeway either, my kids can still watch movies in the back seat with no issues. The only down side I could see with this muffler is its size and weight. It is pretty large and fairly heavy. It doesn't matter under my truck, but I don't see it fitting under a car very easily.
