This exhaust needs an after market midpipe to go with it. I ended up getting a Megan midpipe that has larger piping than the stock midpipe. If you just use this axel back it is way to quite. With an after market midpipe it is just the right amount of loudness. This product is worth the money because the incredibly nice, deep, low, Subby like grumble you get from the Borla is unmatchable to other "ricey" exhausts for any Scion tC. I know when I was extensively researching back in the day for tC exhuasts I couldn't find any that didn't sound ricey. This exhaust no matter if in high rpm always has a low growl that is unbeatable. And best is that it isn't to ridiculously loud. It is just the right loudness, not annoying. Like I said you must buy an after market mid pipe with this to make it the perfect loudness, with just the axle back it's too quite. ... show more

The exhaust is alot lighter than the stock unit but still retains a low tone and a noticeable air flow output, if you want the exhaust to be noticeable, you might want to try the flowmaster dbx series for this car because this exhaust is pretty much stock quiet.
