So today, I finally have everything I need to put my new office together. I out the desk together yesterday - breeze. After work, I back there to put the together the chair together and I unpack it. Chair looks good and padding is actually a little beefier than expected but I haven't sat on it. I was initially upset because the instructions had pics of screws etc but no bags. I emailed the maker (website wasn't finished or operation) and they advised the screws are mounted inside the chair. I saw screws in it when I unpacked it but it looked like heavy duty screws to support 400lb. Well, I finally got it together today: all screws were present, no stripped holes and again it was simple to assemble. I am not sure it'll support my weight but we'll see. I'll update in a month or so. From what I can see from others, the leg you attach as the 5th leg is the one that breaks. I'll advise. Also, please remember that if the shock mount gives out, you can buy others here on Amazon. It's the base I'm concerned about. So until I experience issue, I gave it 4 starts because they should have put the info about the screws in the instructions and not assume every person would know that. It cost me 2 weeks letting it sit plus it sat already until I could get to it Customer service responded immediately and was nice about it. But I didnt need to ask for any screws etc. That was awesome. Right now I'll say it's a good buy and I'd recommend it. ... show more

The chair looks great but it leans forward like a rocking chair and its very uncomfortable. The forward motion hurts my back. I've tried tightening up the bolts but it still leans forward.

Bought this chair after looking at Staples and other office furniture stores. This chair is a MUCH better value. Very comfortable and works well. The recline works fine. Adjustable armrests. Adjustable height. Great lumbar and back support. I set it up myself. Instructions were straightforward, just look carefully at the diagrams. Took me about 30 min to set up. The base detaches so you can actually transport it. Its a good price for what you get. If you treat it well, it should last for a long time. ... show more

    • I'm really disappointed in this chair
The seat is not as thick as the picture would suggest so it's not very comfortable to sit on. I've assembled it and sat it in for a few hours and it's just not what I expected at all. I'm pretty surprised by the positive reviews, which is what led me to buy this in the first place.

Compared to other chairs on the market this is priced great. Especially since it has adjustable arms. However two major problems with it. One, its not comfortable. I am able to use my basic computer chair that you can get at any retailer and the base is more comfortable on those than this thing. Second is it came with the lumbar support restraints stitched wrong so I can't proper secure it to the chair like the images show. And now Amazon has made it impossible to contact the sellers to issues like this. On the plus side, it is easy to assemble. I'll keep the chair but I would recommend maybe looking into a more well known brand to see if they are at least more comfortable. That alone might be worth the extra money. ... show more
