I like that this product is inexpensive, that it is compact, and it is easy to use and works well for a while. After a few months of using it multiple times a day, it started malfunctioning. It would freeze even though the DVD was brand new, and one time the aspect ratio was weird. The last time it froze, it kept opening and closing the tray by itself even when turned off and wouldn't play anymore. I wrote to the email address on the DVD player for technical support and I got a response right away. They are sending me a new DVD player to replace the other one because it is still under warranty.     • Bad product out of the box
I purchased this item for my parents because it can play multiple file types. Item I received was brand new in the box with new packing material inside, So I know for a fact that this wasn't a return. It was brand new. I installed the player with no trouble. It's a simple install with RCA cables to connect the TV and a power cord to plug in. Once up and running, I noticed that the video quality was horrific. Snowy and flickering picture, just like you would expect out of a TV from a horror movie. This is on the boot screen before even playing a video. I tested the machine with two different DVD movies that I know work just fine. Both were played in black and white, covered in snow. I then thought that the issue may be the cheap RCA cables that the unit came with. I grabbed my RCA cables out of the bedroom TV set up and used that to see if the issue was the cable, or the player. The picture quality was exactly the same. It wasn't the cables. To be clear, this is not a person upset by low video quality out of an inexpensive machine. Im not saying that I expected Ultra high rez perfection out of a $24 machine. This isn't the issue. Im saying that the product was faulty out of the box. This is obviously a broken product, out of the box that shouldn't have passed quality control. Im sending the unit back, but I don't trust the brand enough to give them a second chance, I will be replacing it with a competitors product. ... show more

This is a cute little DVD player that is simple to use and works well. I had an issue but contacted maite and they resolved it very quickly and sent me a new one

I purchased this to play music CDs and DVDs. The DVD player works as described. Eventually, there was an issue with the tray. The supplier resolved the issue quickly and professionally and I am very satisfied.

I ordered one of these recently. A few months goes by, all the sudden it stop opening. I had a dvd in it from last time…. and it was play/options worked. But when I pushed “stop” and open, it wouldn’t open. So I ordered another(I like the picture quality bc it is NOT HD/4k; I like older pic qualities). About a month after ordering the second one, the exact same thing happened….the tray stop opening ... show more
