Excellent value. I purchased this unit as an inexpensive means to breaking in high end audio interconnects. I run CD signals through the new cables by playing the CD on repeat for hundreds of hours non-stop. This little champ just keeps going without failure. Sound quality is not important in this process, but it sounds reasonably good. The video picture quality is also good, though I did not watch full length movies. Just a few snips to test it. Overall it’s very durable. Seems well made and performs well. Set up is easy as is use. For the money I’ve not seen better. Well done.

I purchased as a replacement for a similar Electcom product I had purchased in August 2022. Product was easy to set up and works well. Is a good value for the money. The older product was seldom used and worked fine until it just died 2 weeks ago - would not power up. Since I was satisfied otherwise with the older product, I have decided to give it another try with the Electcom Pro. The Pro has a good feature set, but I would have liked the USB port to support video formats such as mp4, mpeg

It's a good little dvd player for the price. It plays right out of the box. I looked at setup, but I didn't know half the options, so I didn't do it. The most annoying thing is the light which is very bright. The off light isn't needed. I pull the plug when it's turned off. For the price, this is a small inconvenience. Most important is that it works well, at least for only having used it only a few times.

The first unit initially work fine, but after a few weeks it malfunctioned. I contacted the company and they promptly replaced the unit with a new one. Great customer service, I would highly recommend buying from this company.

I love this DVD player. This is the Electcom Pro. I've bought it in the past. My last one lasted 13 months. That may not seem long to many but since I was a little girl I have slept with the TV on and the player is used about 10-14 hours daily. I don't have tv set up in my bedroom but I have a lot of DVD's. This model allows you to set it on repeat all, so it loops. Some of my DVD's are tv series. On a regular player you have to click play for each episode. With this one you set it for repeat all and it plays from the time I go to bed to the time I turn it off when I get up in the morning. It's great when I'm in bed sick. The picture is clear and sharp and the sound is great. The player is small and compact. The price is very affordable which these days many of us have to pinch pennies. The quality is good. HDMI cable? Well it comes with both cable hook up or like I use direct hook up to the tv. This player is multiregional and I have had no problems with DVD's from the UK, Canada or Australia or the USA. I received my player in two days. I recommend this player to any one who is an avid DVD player like myself. My thanks to the seller.

The price on this was great! It was delivered same day and works just as it should. Decent picture. No advertisements. No searching all over to find where you can stream a movie for free...just open the drawer , load your dvd, and enjoy!. One big reason for purchasing was the fact that it came with av cords and the HDMI cord, saving me a few bucks having to buy an HDMI seperate. The player size is perfect. The remote is really oversized compared to the player and probably has more buttons than anything I own lol. With a 30 day return policy thru Amazon, and and extra 3 year manufacturing one that you easily sign up by scanning the warranty barcode that comes with the item, this is a solid deal! Just buy it!.…....oh, and btw the remote does not come with aaa batteries.

I'm 75 years old. Never made a bucket list. But if I had, the Electcom Pro 2.0 CH DVD Player would be an important part in fulfilling 'desire one' admirably. Old television, no sound system, that is where I was at. Time to step up. TV prices falling and quality leaping forward: I bought a very large smart tv and a complimentary stereo amp with stand alone speakers that I could seperate apart by 20'. Streaming is nice, but I wanted to play a few DVDs and a large collection of my favorite music CDs (commercial and self burned, from Marty Robbins to Baby Queen). I found Electcom Pro DVD/CD Player, affordable, easy to set up with both HDMI and RCA cables, and complimentary to the new system set up. Anxious to see and hear what popping in a disc would bring me, I grabbed The Complex Tour, The Blue Man Group DVD: easy open/close tray (by button or remote) and was amazed at the quality of picture and sound, of Player, TV and Amp. Impressed. Love catching up with all the old tunes in great playback stereo. Where is Waldo. Where is Electcom Pro: Below big TV, next to Amp above (out of sight) game console. Fits in perfectly. One drawback is one cannot turn off the OFF notification, that would be good - maybe a soothing color clock.

Works really well. I gave it only four stars because the OFF stays lighted up and never shuts off. You need to unplug the device to make off light go away. Than plug the device back into a outlet to use it...No way else to make the off light go away.
