Excellent value. I purchased this unit as an inexpensive means to breaking in high end audio interconnects. I run CD signals through the new cables by playing the CD on repeat for hundreds of hours non-stop. This little champ just keeps going without failure. Sound quality is not important in this process, but it sounds reasonably good. The video picture quality is also good, though I did not watch full length movies. Just a few snips to test it. Overall it’s very durable. Seems well made and performs well. Set up is easy as is use. For the money I’ve not seen better. Well done.

about 2 weeks short of a year, this unit has decided that it no longer wishes to play our DVDs. Guess you get what you pay for. - Edited - at the time, I also sent email to the seller - through the Amazon link - I got an immediate response, and once I answered some questions about what was wrong, they replaced the player! I was so impressed - each time I sent info, they responded immediately. The player works great, and I really loved the level of customer service.

Amazing and easy to use.The light does stay on if it’s connected to a power source,It’s okay since I don’t stay in that room all day anyways.The cost is decent as I really wanted a small dvd player that didn’t break the bank perfect!.The size is good as it fits under my tv perfectly,The dvd quality is perfect as the dvd scenes are good and the sound.Now I’m telling you I’m a young adult with no experience on connecting dvd players to a tv so that’s saying something it’s very easy to connect and the instructions are easy to read!.

This is a great little DVD/CD player that is easy to set up, even for a 70 plus individual. It has RCA connectors that fit my old tuner and my Bose CD/Radio with a broken CD player. Great value for the money and infinitely cheaper that buying a new Bose (which is why I just bought a second one). It also sound good and picture quality.

"I originally purchased this DVD player about a year ago and was initially very impressed with its compact design and how it was so easy to use. It worked perfectly for our home until recently, when it began having trouble reading the discs. While it was frustrating to have a hardware failure so soon, the company’s customer service was absolutely top-notch. I reached out to their support team, and they were responsive and professional from start to finish. They didn't make me jump through unnecessary hoops; once I explained the issue, they quickly authorized a replacement. The replacement unit arrived in two days and is working flawlessly. Stopped working not even 2-years in. It refuses to read discs. I'm 75 years old. Never made a bucket list. But if I had, the Electcom Pro 2.0 CH DVD Player would be an important part in fulfilling 'desire one' admirably. Old television, no sound system, that is where I was at. Time to step up. TV prices falling and quality leaping forward: I bought a very large smart tv and a complimentary stereo amp with stand alone speakers that I could seperate apart by 20'. Streaming is nice, but I wanted to play a few DVDs and a large collection of my favorite music CDs (commercial and self burned, from Marty Robbins to Baby Queen). I found Electcom Pro DVD/CD Player, affordable, easy to set up with both HDMI and RCA cables, and complimentary to the new system set up. Anxious to see and hear what popping in a disc would bring me, I grabbed The Complex Tour, The Blue Man Group DVD: easy open/close tray (by button or remote) and was amazed at the quality of picture and sound, of Player, TV and Amp. Impressed. Love catching up with all the old tunes in great playback stereo. Where is Waldo. Where is Electcom Pro: Below big TV, next to Amp above (out of sight) game console. Fits in perfectly. One drawback is one cannot turn off the OFF notification, that would be good - maybe a soothing color clock.
