Update: Amended on June 3rd. I was contacted by the company and was offered a replacement dvd player after my review. Since I had already replaced it with another model, they have agreed to send me a full refund. That is great customer service I hadn't bothered to call them at the contact number thinking it was way too long a time between purchase and problem. !I bought this dvd player in July 2025 used it twice in August. I tried to play a dvd on it May 2026 and it did not work. I tried several dvds, the picture would come in for a second and disappear like it had a loose connection.. For 2 years it played just fine. I was watching a dvd last evening and it started stopping so I rejected it and put in a dvd cleaner disc hoping that this would solve the problem. The cleaner disc worked fine, but now when I put a disc in the player it keeps giving me the dics error message. Unit worked very well with very easy installation. I get a great picture using HDMI. Remote control functions are easy to use and functional. I even ripped an audio CD on to a memory USB stick and that worked very well. All in all I think this is a great product for the price.
