This incredibly compact DVD unit is not only very affordable, it functions very well too The tv you see in the picture is only a 28 inch model The DVD player is approx 9 inches across. It is the perfect size for this tv! We aren’t majorly into tv or dvd viewing. We had a “nice” dvd player that pretty much filled the bottom of this tv. (This DVD player is less than 1/2 the size of the one we had.) My cousin transferred some family films onto DVDs and sent them to me. When I went to view one of them, I discovered our old DVD player no longer worked. I was already concerned that it might not play “homemade” DVDs, but it had apparently retired from playing any DVDs at all I wanted to see the DVDs my cousin had sent, but I didn’t want to spend the kind of money we had spent on our last DVD player (when it was purchased, a member of our household was a movie aficionado so he chose a very nice, expensive DVD player) I was astonished at how low of a price a DVD player is selling for (and a bit nervous about “getting what I paid for”) I need not have been concerned. This is a wonderful little machine. It came with both HDMI cables and RCA cables in the box. It took just a few moments to connect the HDMI cable to the tv and the dvd player. Once the dvd player was plugged in we were good to go The sound and picture quality are outstanding on even “homemade” DVDs. The functions on the remote are clear and very easy to understand. It even comes with a free three year warranty that you scan the included QR code with your smartphone camera to activate! (I am quite impressed by this!) I am exceptionally pleased with this purchase. It was very affordable and a quality device!

It's a good little dvd player for the price. It plays right out of the box. I looked at setup, but I didn't know half the options, so I didn't do it. The most annoying thing is the light which is very bright. The off light isn't needed. I pull the plug when it's turned off. For the price, this is a small inconvenience. Most important is that it works well, at least for only having used it only a few times.

Simple cheap DVD player. Comes with cables! Works as expected. When powered off, the display stays on and says OFF. Other than that useless feature, this works just fine. The remote is poorly designed but for this price, what are you expecting?

The player failed after 20 minutes of playing the first DVD. So now you're wondering why 5 stars. After I e-mailed their support listing the problems they quickly replied with 2 options. A full refund, or a replacement unit shipped to me at no cost. I picked the later. The replacement unit is working perfectly. I have over 50 years in the electronics industry. In most cases, electronics are going to fail early in their life, or last a long time.

This was a life changer for my family and I. With the changing scene of media (especially with censorship, movie changes, ownership squabbles, etc.) and the general expense of streaming these days, this has been a great alternative. I've been buying DVDs from Ebay for cheap or picking up DVDs from my local library and watching on here. The set up was so easy, the picture quality is outstanding, the instructions are clear, and this set includes everything to get the DVD player up and running in one session. You can also play CDs on here, and the sound quality and ease of switching through a) music and b) movie options is amazing. I would recommend this DVD player to anyone - great setup, great connectivity, easy use, wonderful sound and picture quality, and everything is ready for you as soon as you get it, from control to wires.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a piece of junk! I ordered it because it has lots of reviews and over 30k purchases! It won’t play a simple dvd. It keeps opening and closing on its own. I put the remote on it to show I wasn’t operating it. I tried other dvds and cds and it’s the same issue. I ordered from another seller and my dvds and cds played well. Returning this junk for my money back! Not worth your money and time! **Edited! The customer service is really amazing I must say!! They reached out and sent me another dvd player at no cost! They didn’t demand for a positive review in exchange for the free player and that is commendable! The new one works better so maybe I got a bad one the first time 🤷🏽♀️ it’s worth trying

Overall I am I am veey happy with my purchase! Set up was simple and remote was pre-programmed (that is a major plus in my book as I am not very tech oriented.) Took some adjusting to adjust volume, but discovered I could turn tv volume up and them just turn dvd sound down and it worked well. I tried playing some cds on it, but sound quality was poor. Not real important to me as I have a cd player. I love the small compact size of this product. No bells and whistles, but works perfect for my needs and has a very, very reasonable price!
