- Works great, great price. - Did NOT come with HDMI cable, I paid a few dollars extra for this model for the HDMI Yet still a great deal for 4 months of zero internet service over the CA winter in 2023. - CAN'T READ REMOTE BUTTON LABELS!! - Amazing extra functions, BUT CAN'T READ THE BUTTONS, SO CAN'T USE THEM! BAD: Text labels on the remote ARE FAR TOO TINY & FAR TOO LIGHT TO READ!!! Never had a remote this bad. It works, but it's labeling is USELESS, so the remote is virtually useless! Which means that all the AWESOME extra functions this device offers, they effectively cannot be used! You can try to memorize a few buttons you use most, BUT, you'd forget unless used daily. The tiny very light labels will certainly fade to nothing or rub off quickly. THEN you're out of luck. Player won't work ONLY because the buttons are unlabeled! You'll need a bright light & magnifying glass to operate the remote. You'll have to use it like an old fashioned TV before remotes existed. And won't be able to use advanced features. But, if you never rewind, pause, restart playback or use any of the amazing extra features is has, this works GREAT! ... show more

Works great. Noisy loading/unloading. There's a light on the front indicating "on" green or standby "red". The red stays on and is is very bright and irritating. So I have to block it. Why would anyone need a light to show that a DVR device is off?

I needed a DVD/CD player with analog output for my camper tv, plus my auto CD player went kaput on me. I like mp3s on a CD vs a USB stick because they pick up where I left off last time. Just a basic DVD player. It was easy to install with a HDMI cable I already had. I recently cut the cord and wanted a DVD in case the internet goes down. As others said, the volume is very low. I have to turn it all the way up to hear it.
