Excellent performance. At first there were two weeks that my water didn’t get soft. I thought it was something bad with the softener. The problem was the valves come set to bypass the softener. So after I fixed that, I was able to get great soft water for about a month (this is a house we hadn't lived in full-time so the settings were different). After moving in full-time, I did not change the settings but the water got hard again. I contacted the seller through Amazon and he called me and walked me through the steps to get it right. As it turned out, I simply forgot to adjust settings after moving into the house full-time. The seller even sends you links to YouTube videos on how to do everything. Not only would I recommend this seller and product, but I am recommending this softener (and seller) to my parents. I'm very pleased. ... show more

    • Forget the other softeners
This unit replaced our stupidly expensive $2000 Culligan. It works MUCH BETTER. On top of that, we save 75 gallons a night in water . Culligan regenerates every 2 AM. This unit only regenerates every 2100 gallons. Setting the meter is not totally easy. So call tech support if needed. Save yourself thousands of dollars . The maintenance kit is also a lot cheaper than other units. And best thing is, you can do it yourself . The Culligan we had freaking cost $300 per visit by them. ... show more

Was relieved when I realized how simple this install would be. In the confirmation email you get a link to a great install video that gives you literal step-by-step instructions. With basic supplies from the hardware store almost anyone can make this install.

    • Replacement for Culligan system
Did a LOT of research for a replacement for our Culligan 9" Silver series softener and selected the often raved about Fleck softener. Next decision was from whom to purchase it and I am glad I got it from Aplus Water LLC. Best price going, arrived ahead of schedule (undamaged) and they immediately replied, to both phone and email, to a question I had before installing the system. This has been amazing. Our water taste so good. Our appliances have no build up. We are outside city limits with bad hard water deposits. This has been life changing. A++. Our water is so filtered and soft now. Used with water filter connected and filter in kitchen. Really helps longevity of washer, dishwasher, and keeps bath and toilet cleaner longer because no build up. Also rinses soap off cleaner when bathing. ... show more
