I am a master certified Technician over 25 years experience and this was one of the biggest peices junk i ever had the misfortune to handle. I got in a pinch to do 1 job and it didn't have cups for 4x4, but is says 4 wheel drive?? But I thought I can make it work ....even once... nope!! "C" clamp Bowed and spread under low pressure. Keep coming apart.... May work for a skateboard or bicycle....not sure of that. ... show more

Good basic ball joint press. Visual inspection seems to be made well but time will tell once I have to attach one of those stubborn jobs. It comes with several different press adapters and receiver cups which you can adapt for your needs. Remember, these can be used for u-joint jobs among other things as well. Some jobs may require specific adapters, but I’d think they could be purchased as needed and used with this press. The press comes in a plastic case which is nothing special but will keep the contents of the kit organized. The anvil on the end of the press screw is made to swivel which helps decrease the torque required to press things. As you can see in the attached photo, I chose to remove it and clean the rust and junk off it. I greased things with moly grease and reassembled the anvil swivel. Hex size is 7/8” or 22mm. The “C-shaped” body of the press appears to be forged and nice looking upon visual inspection. There’s a label inside of the case that states “Do Not Use an Impact Gun” which means the manufacturer doesn’t want you to have any fun, but oh well. I think this Ball Joint Press is a pretty good bang for your buck. ... show more

The threads on the bolt wear out real fast the get extremely sharp after a couple times using it. Dont buy unless u plan on throwing it away after first use and they will tell u its notmal wear and tear terrible product and company
